Madelina, Amy and Charlotte Tisdale-Hastings
Your opinion on Carla?
Before we were married, I was very threatened by her. But now that Amy and I are married and we have our family, I don't feel threatened by her. The ring on Amy's and my fingers are beacons to the world that we belong to each other.
"whatever surface you are on"? Do you have sex in a plot of places?
Amy can be quite insatiable.
Kitchen Counter, Couch, or on top of the dryer?
There's something about a Kitchen Counter...the urgency of needing someone so bad that you can't wait to get to a more comfortable surface.
Top or bottom?
Dude...both. How can I pick one? That's impossible.
Biggest turn on:
Anything having to do with my neck. Lightly biting it, lightly kissing it even just breathing on it sometimes. I'll be doing something and Amy will come up behind me without me knowing she's there and it's on after that. I can't be held responsible for what I do next.
What is your wildest dream to do with Amy?
I wanna travel the world with her and Lottie. I want to see everything there is to see with two of my favorite people by my side. I think being an international family could be amazing.
Were you and Amy just taking a bath? ;)
"We love taking baths together. They can get....quite steamy."
What if Amy wants your kids to surf?
"I'm surprised she hasn't already taken Lottie out on a paddle board. We have a little life jacket for her. As much as I love flying with her, I think she'd also love the water, just as much."
Favorite part of Amy's body
"The swell of her breasts when her back arches up when we make love. The curve of her back when she is asleep in bed, laying next to me. I can't help but touch it with my fingertips while she's asleep."
Someday, you will walk home, and a pregnant Amy will be waiting for you.
"While I would love for us to have another baby some day...I would really love to be part of the whole process from the beginning. I would hope we could make that decision together. We've been so busy since the wedding, we've hardly even talked about it."
How can you not be jealous of Carla? She is literally an younger version of you. She got the same look as you, blonde, clear eyes, amazing body. She looks bubbly like you. She got chemistry with Amy. But, she got one thing different from you. She follows Amy's lifestyle, routines, hobbies, career. How are you not jealous?
"Who said I wasn't?"
How can you have sex with your big wings? Is it uncomfortable?
"Actually, no,not at all. When I'm on my back, I can lay them completely flat on whatever surface we are on. And when I'm on top, I can tuck them either around the both of us or very tightly to my back.
Amy has never complained...so...I think our sex life is pretty good."
Amy was trying not to cry, knowing her sister would kill her for ruining the makeup. But seeing Lottie so happy brought tears to her eyes once again. She giggled with Maddie. "She already is a handful, Mads, but she'll be a good handful," she said softly.
Then, she knew the big moment was coming. Amy was finally going to hear Maddie's love note, and she was excited, even if a little nervous. Not in a bad way, though—just nervous because she knew that whatever Maddie was going to say would make her fall even deeper in love with the blonde, winged girl.
The first word that left Maddie's mouth was her name, and just that simple word made Amy sob. She sobbed the whole way through Maddie's vows; she just couldn't help herself. "I love you so much," Amy said softly once Maddie finished speaking. She took Maddie's hands, squeezing them tightly, trying her best to convey all the love she was feeling.
Now it was her turn to finally speak her truth. She swallowed hard and looked at Isabella, who was holding her prepared notes. But Amy shook her head. She was going to speak from the heart, sharing what she was feeling in that moment. She wasn’t going to use the note she had typed. She’d give it to Maddie later, but right now, she just hoped that this wouldn’t be a mistake.
"Madelina…" Amy began with a sweet smile, gently rubbing the back of Maddie's hand with her thumb. "Maddie… When I first arrived on this island, I was lost. Well, I was literally lost. I had no idea where the hell I was going," she said with a playful expression, making everyone laugh. But then her expression softened into a sweet, oh so-in-love smile, and it was clear she was no longer joking.
"You were my guiding light. You still are," she said softly. "From my best friend to my lover, it took ages. But now, I can’t imagine my life without you. I know we’ve had our ups and downs—oh boy, we had a lot of downs. I was so jealous when you weren’t mine, and I couldn’t put it into words, but now… now I understand why," she continued gently. "I wanted you to be mine. Not just my friend—I wanted you to be mine, body and soul, heart… I wanted you to be my partner, my wife. Because you were already my life."
She spoke softly, "I feel like I’ve loved you since day one, and I love you even more now. It’s hard to explain just how much I love you, to the point that I would give my life to protect you." And that was true—she had done it before and would do it again in a heartbeat. "You cast a spell on me, and thank God you did, because I am the happiest when I’m with you, Maddie. You complete my life, and I’m so, so happy to call you my wife. I love you, and thank you for showing me what life can be. That life isn’t just about competition, awards, money, or fame. Thank you for showing me the true meaning of life."
As Amy spoke, Lottie was chattering happily, throwing flowers from her basket on the ground. Maddie glanced for a second and saw that Sophia had things well in hand, so her attention stayed on her almost-wife. The words the brunette spoke, soaked into Maddie like a sponge. She knew all these things and yet, hearing them spoken and from the mouth of the woman she loved was something else entirely. Her body broke out in goosebumps and her eyes filled with tears. She let them flow freely, her smile and hazel eyes never wavering.
Her mind couldn't help but travel back to when Amy had died during the second war on Elysium. It had been for Maddie, to protect her. In that moment, she thought she'd lost the woman forever at the hands of the madman who was trying to ruin their lives. Her eyes traveled to her sister and gave a slight wink before turning back to Amy. The little girl had been the reason Amy was still alive.
She squeezed Amy's hands as she finished. "I love you." She said, before Mandy spoke. "Now, may we have the rings, please!" Maddie looked at her sister and waved her forward. "I have them!" The little girl exclaimed. Maddie kissed the girl on the forehead and took the ring she'd bought for Amy. "Do you, Maddie, take Amy to be your wife? In sickness, health, richer or poorer, to be a family for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do." Maddie said, beaming, placing the ring on Amy's finger.
When Maddie reached for her body, Amy was already out of this world. She wasn't breathing; in fact, her lungs were full of water. If she had been underwater any longer, she would have been dead for good.
In one thing, Apollo was right: he could win. "Could" being the key word. Because he would never truly win. He almost succeeded this time—if he had waited a moment longer, if he had made sure the guy was still controlling the water for a few more minutes, Amy would be gone by now. But his excitement over his plan ended up ruining it.
As soon as Isabella heard that someone had taken over that poor guy's mind, she knew what was happening. She looked at Thomas and then at Maddie, who she knew was thinking the same thing. "He is back, right?" was all she could ask, because Maddie knew exactly who she was talking about. Apollo. Their shadow.
Had it been a bad idea to let her daughter marry Maddie? Now, if Apollo was truly back, Amy would be his number one target. She would never be safe again! "I knew I shouldn't have allowed her to marry you! I knew it!" Isabella screamed at Maddie, terrified for Amy and not even sure of what she was saying. "Bella, this is not the right moment to make a scene," Thomas said, holding his wife back and trying to calm her down.
While all that was happening, Drea was somehow able to make Amy breathe again. After a moment or two, Amy started coughing and throwing up the water that had filled her lungs. She was barely breathing with everything that was going on. She lay on her side, trying to expel all the water.
The wounds on her back and head were also being healed by Drea. Now, only her hair was bloody, but she no longer had any cuts; it was all just dirt. "What… What is going on?" Amy finally asked once she was able to speak again.
Maddie left the side of the man who'd been used to hurt Amy and went back to kneel beside her wife. She was purposefully ignoring what Amy's mother had said, not even in the right head space to argue-- her whole focus was on her wife and the mother of her child. Thoughts were racing through her mind as she watched her little sister heal Amy. Was Isabella right? Was this Apollo's work? And if it was, what did that mean? They'd defeated them, hadn't they? She'd been there when he died. She wanted to cry, to scream, to rip her hair out until she was bald.
Maddie's eyes filled with thankful tears as Amy choked up the water that had been in her lung. "Oh my God, Amy. You're okay, you're okay. I'm here." She said, grabbing the woman's hand and squeezing it tight. "I'm right here." She could hear the people around them comforting each other, but her only focus was on her Amy.
"Something happened while you were surfing, hun. You fell off your surfboard and then somehow you were dragged under water. Someone used this man's ability without his consent....I'm still trying to figure out how. It's like his mind has been erased." She leaned forward to help Amy sit up a bit and leaned her forehead against the other woman's. "I'm so glad you're okay. I don't know what I would have done if I 'd have lost you. There was so much blood." She turned to Drea and kissed the little girl on the forehead. "Thanks, munchkin. Again."
