Because there are people out there that don't believe bisexuality and/or pansexuality are a thing. I can understand pansexuality not being well-known as it is attraction to ALL genders, and we live in a society where most people believe there are only two genders (which isn't true). But bisexuality? Come on! It's not impossible to be attracted to both men and women!! Sexuality isn't black and white; it's not "either you're straight or gay". Bisexuality is the attraction to two genders; it's not impossible to like more than one gender. I felt this message worked great with Barry and Tyler since they're pan and bi, respectively. Maybe they're at pride or something. I hope this is in-character, Kehna!! Maybe we should RP them again, sometime; we kinda went on hiatus with RPing this couple since we ran out of ideas. I messed around with color tools, and had no idea what I was doing, but made it work anyway. XDD I've been using GIMP for about...almost 3 years and there's so much I still don't know about it. XD
