There were days it honestly felt like she was just learning how to walk again, and it had zero to do with the halo glitching on her, and everything to do with her habit of rushing absolutely everywhere. Case in point, she was running to the corner store -for no reason; there was no need to rush- when she tripped over her own feet and knocked into someone else. Immediately she heard the sound of items hitting the floor and without even thinking, she bent down to start helping pick them up. “I’m so sorry,” she managed, “I’m normally much more aware of where I’m going...or, well, I’m at least a little more aware.”

“When you said you needed help from someone who was okay with body movement,” they started, a small grunt escaping their lips, “I was expecting there to be more, I don’t know, movement.” As it stood, Vi had spent the last several hours striking the positions of someone going through the motions of some of her runs, but then just having to hold still as the other worked on their sketch.
