          they’re being lazy - just laying on the couch with the tv on as background noise more than anything. she stopped paying attention to it about an hour ago, choosing instead to play with beau’s fingers silently, unbrushed hair laying wild around her hair. a sharp gasp breaks the silence as she squeezes beau’s hand tightly, eyes widening. she can’t find the words to explain her sudden reaction, instead directing beau’s hand to her growing stomach. ❝ that’s your baby. she’s - she’s movin’ ! ❞ she says excitedly, this being the first time she’s ever felt the little angel - PEACH - move.

13: make out on floor

it’s an odd situation. not a regular one, that’s for sure and before seth can say anything, he’s pushed into the closet, the door shut behind him. there’s no real words exchanged, just breaths in close quarters in the darkness as they find each other for the first time. seth’s not sure of the boy’s name entirely– no, no it’s beau. and well, beau’s got cute, full lips and seth’s been watching them throughout the night so he moves in to do what they’re expected to do in the closet. there’s shuffling from both sides, a few awkward movements and somehow they stumble together, seth ending up on top of beau. a few moments of chuckling from both ends and their lips meet again and again till they find a rhythm that for some reasons feels so easy and effortless. seth allows his weight to press against the other as they kiss, naturally his fingers start to drift to the other’s neck but he pauses in fear of being too affectionate and settles for rubbing his shoulder and maneuvering so that they can lie side by side as their lips move. it’s… peaceful and seth is rather grateful for the tender patience of the moment until there’s a banging on the door.

seth pulls away, trying not to show any reluctance that he feels.

“seth, by the way.”

          in the past decade, duck has gotten used to taking care of beau. his son, too much like him, has a tendency of hiding any ailment he may have so it tends to get pretty bad before duck notices that his eldest son is suck, causing him, like tonight, to have him standing in the kitchen while he forces the boy to take medication. but even with the whining and sniffling, duck can’t help the feeling of lovejoypride that flows through him every time he lays eyes on his son. ❝ yeah, but i’ll get her more flowers. right now, you need a flower. ❞ he smiles, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of beau’s head before reaching down and picking the boy up. ❝ c’mon, let’s get ya that tea, yeah ? ❞
