Miles had heard someone coming, but it sounded like their footsteps were getting farther away. It didn't sound like the big fucking guy, but anyone here could be dangerous. Of course, his focus on the hallway before him and how close he could press his body against the wall behind him blinded him to what was right in front of him. When he was certain he heard a door shut down the hall, he turned his head back to face straight ahead. Where a person was standing. They looked really young, but it didn't stop him from getting startled.

"Jesus....!" He jumped a little. They didn' seem dangerous... "Wh-what do you want...?"

        There was low humming that leaves Kharon as he kneels down to tie off his boat, fog had come to settle atop the waters again today. The silence only broken by his low tone and soon by the sounds of feet approaching-- perhaps not approaching him but moving. Tattered little vibrations echo out and move around him as he shifts to stand now, “You again.” He says lowly sure the other wouldn’t remember him, as he turns to face the way the other was, “You are safe here, there is no need for anymore running.”
