Christmas in July (Kairi)
So here it was: the Imperial mountain pass of China. Or in this world, known as the "Land of Dragons". Appropriate, but still made Sora laugh on the inside. Bringing the gummi ship to a smooth, slow landing, Sora flipped off the engine before hopping out of his seat with a cheery. "We're here!"
He opened up the hatch, and paused by the ramp, throwing a grin over his shoulder. "So, what do you think?"
The sky was cloudy, and the whole mountain grounds were covered in white. Sora could already feel the chill, even through his green jacket, cargo pants, and black fingerless gloves, but he knew he'd warm up pretty soon.
"Well, I've never seen snow before," Kairi replied. "I've always wanted to see it."
"Really?" He grinned suddenly, the prospect of playing in the snow with her, and showing her something she’d never seen before too good to pass up. "Well, what’re we waiting for? Let’s go!" He beckoned her to follow, before loping off for the ship.

"It's nice to see you too, Sora, I've missed you," Kairi said, her cheeks flushing a little.
"Really?" He blinked, a little taken aback. Maybe his double hadn’t been around enough? Well, whatever the reason, they were talking now, right? He smiled slowly. "Yeah. I’ve missed you too."
Maybe there were some things still up for explaining, but that could wait for a bit, right? Why not have some fun together? Sora turned away, looking up at the sky thoughtfully. “Say, Kairi… you wanna go out? To one of the other worlds, I mean.” He looked back to watch her again. “Is there one you haven’t been to, yet?”
"Alright, I need some variety in my life though, you know?" she said with a smile. "What have you been up to?"
He laughed a little nervously. Variety, huh? Oh he’d had plenty of that recently. “I dunno, really… lotsa stuff I can’t even keep track of. Feel like it’s gotten pretty crazy lately. Definitely unexpected. But not bad. Like seeing you again. Didn’t expect it, but it was nice, ya know?”
"Nothing, I'm just bored and wanted someone to talk to," she explained.
"If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s solving boredom," he joked, though once he said it, he had to think for a minute of a suitable topic. "…Most of the time anyway… uh, how have you been, anyway?"
"Hi Sora!"
"Kairi!" Sora waved enthusiastically as he saw her approach. "Hey there! Whatcha doin' out here?"
