He only saw the chaos it would create on the mostly peaceful island. All the noise of the grinding engine, the wheels digging into the ground, leaving muddy tracks and smudging the paint on the image of the eight trigrams in the practice grounds.

"I've been lenient about a lot of things, Korra, but I'm putting my foot down on this one."

"Wait. You wouldn't happen to be the Mako, would you? As in Moxy Mako from the Fire Ferrets?" Part of her was flabbergasted that she hadn't made the connection earlier. "I've heard so much about you from my brother and grandfather, and neither of them bothered to mention that you are the very same Mako I spent hours cheering for on the radio. I'm a huge fan!"

Yuki thinks about it, arms folded over her chest as she taps a finger against a bicep. Loosing track on a journey like this isn't exactly great for record keeping, but it wasn't the end of the world. "Lets say six days to be safe. Okay six days of travel, honestly we should just go ahead and ration for seven to be on the safe side." She said, ticking the days off on her fingers. "Always better to be safe than sorry, even if it mean rations are eating up a larger portion of what we're backing this way."

She pushes off from the wall, heading over to the desk jotting down some notes. "But with the massive push of Hunters heading for the continent, I'm hoping it's five days. I'd like to try and not be the last ones there."

"I'm back, @withgutsandglory." Kogami announces his arrival loud enough for Ginoza to hear regardless of his position in the apartment. He nudges the door shut with his hip and moves toward the kitchen once he hears the lock click. "I got everything you asked for... and some. It's getting chilly tonight, so do you think you'll be in a mood for hot pot?"

“Embarrassed about what exactly? You tossing the Platypus-bear waterbender off the side of ring? Using the earth-discs out of defense when you’re supposed to be a waterbender player because no one knew you were the Avatar? Being knocked out of the ring during the second round of your first ever pro-bending match?” While Bolin was harmlessly piling on the embarrassing incidents, it still was a lot to hear as he fired away with no ill-intent. “I mean, on the bright side, you still managed to help us win the game with a knockout in the third round! Overall it was a pretty solid match for not having any training beforehand.”
