Friends Run Hard
Yesterday I was able to connect with 3 friends yesterday. It was great to catch up with them. Life can sometimes seem to spin so fast, but we need to take time and be grounded by good friends.
I did do my run last night, and we kept a decent pace for 4 miles, I will admit that last mile I thought I was gonna die, my breathing was out of control and I couldn't get into a good rhythm. But we finished. The goal by the end of the month is to be able to do 5 miles under 9 min mile pace. This is kinda overwhelming because a month ago when I was running along I couldn't keep a pace close to 10 min, now I am breaking that on my own. I think the 9 min pace is doable, but need to train hard.
Speaking of hard, I am so in <3 with the withings scale, it is motivating to keep track of my food intake to make sure I am staying on track with the weight watchers points, so I can see the graph go down. If you haven't heard of the scale, google it, but in a nutshell every time I weigh myself it sends my weight to a website that tracks it for me and graphs it. VERY COOL.
Need to actually work today.
but the game plan tonight is to do 1 hour cardio and my core workout.
