-Can It Exist Without a Fire?- (8/5/19)
Can it exist without a fire? We are compelled to bid To one day hope, to be inspired Nothing truly centers life's lid
Men are forever burdened They're apt for complacency Surrounded by inner servants The fool thinks himself royalty
Passion in its purest form Purpose and ethos maketh the man It builds his resilience to the storm It reminds him of his place in the sand
Virtue only matters in death For life is too short for all of that Such error heralds the last breath Fair to incite the divine's just wrath
In this world of everlasting iniquity Man is lost in the wrong desires A blight that scorns all in ubiquity Can it exist without a fire?
