It's perfectly "Healthy and Cool" to express your feelings in a candid and vulnerable way.
I swear if i have to read another post in Tumblr, Twitter tik tok or instagram about people shipping shoni with the boys.....
Like what the hell people do not get about the word lesbian??
Or the fact that shelby and toni are lesbians?
Ship the boys with the other girls or push that agenda with the others but not with shoni which is the canon main couple and are lesbians.
like b*tch we've been knew snufkin deeply inside considers moominvalley as a place he will always come back to but-
HOME??? H.O.M.E?? HOME IS SUCH A STRONG WORD AND I KNOW WE'VE BEEN KNEW FOR AGES BUT JUST EVEN CONSIDERING SNUFKIN MENTIONING MOOMINVALLEY AS "HOME" IN THE FUTURE OF THE SERIES BROUGHT ME TO TEARS.
Like imagine Snufkin coming back like on the begining of the series but instead of having a crisis over his freedom he says "I'm going home". I just- I need a moment
I don’t know how to politically correct language, someone should tell me what’s the deal with Indian/Native American/native/indigenous
Here’s what I think I know:
-Indian is, like, the reclaimed term, but reclaimed like queer, not like n*. Even so, it’s kind of ambiguous due to the existence of Indian subcontinent Indians, and generally not preferable? Lots of history textbooks use it and it’s the word used in all the legal stuff (Department of Indian Affairs, various treaties, etc.)
-Native American is the Politically Correct term but actually it’s kind of charged and awkward and no one ever actually uses it.
-native is, uh, unfortunate, sort of like “negro” or “colored”. But mostly it’s not Awful; in different contexts it could be bigoted or not.
-indigenous is the umbrella term for Colonized People Across the Globe. But it’s kind of overly woke and doesn’t include people who were colonized by nonwhite people and also implicitly divides civilized from uncivilized? Very Activisty.
What’s the middle of the line term, which doesn’t signal “I am a horrible racist” but also doesn’t signal “I am the most pristine radical woke leftist ever”? Also, specificity is important, though possibly not possible to have: I don’t want to accidentally include Polynesians and the Zulu or something.
Does “Indian” work for that? Or what?
So... I'd love to follow more Shadowhunters blogs, but... are there any out there without drama? Without hating on any of the actors or any of the ships, blogs who are just neutral or positive in general?
Because I love the show and I love the characters. All of them, and that's in my eyes a great achievement of this show - to make its characters all so damn likeable with so many interesting interactions between all of them.
So... anyone like-minded out there? 🙂
Finally smoked and I calmed down a bit
I guess those dreams really shook me up. But once I finally smoked I started thinking clearly again and I'm okay now.
I wish my brain could just... Chill. Gotta get working on a nightmare prevention spell.
