With bonus fucking ‘fuck yous’ to people who think that it’s awesome to try shaming even someone who MIGHT just be fucking ‘lazy’ or ‘ignorant’ about shit by saying “When your parent(s)’ are gone you’ll have to take care of yourself you know” when the possibly-just-lazy-person is actively trying to find help because their parent(s) are sick or injured.

How is that even a remotely fucking appropriate response?

“Hey my mom is really fucking sick and I am at a loss and could use some help/backup with housework or figuring some shit out!”

Seriously I don’t fucking care if it is that the person asking for help is neurotypical, able-bodied, and generally to all intents and purposes a selfish person. What the fuck makes it seem logical/cool to reference the death of someone who’s sick as a throwaway fucking guilt trip?

Honestly even when it’s not directly about help with dealing with shit bc the parents/loved ones are ill or hurt, just, yes, yes, remind people that someday people they love are gonna die as a means to guilt them. Not dickish or damaging at fucking all.
