i’m going to fight being triggered by something by expressing my deep and unapologetic love for Arthur Kirkland and his boyfriend Ludwig Beilschmidt because I been in that kind of mood today. 

also I’ve been watching avatar again and come up with an au. So catch this; Ludwig is a fire bender, but he’s trying to escape to the earth kingdom. He feels that fire is destructive, he can’t control it and has a temper which makes it worse. He’s just trying to quietly get through but gets pick pocketed (it’s Arthur.) i haven’t decided what happens in between, probably some following on and getting annoyed but mildly friendly with this thief - only because he keeps following. eventually something something lud gets angry and fire bends, wherever they are lands him in a small jail in the town. Arthur visits him and Ludwig is dismissive, turns his back talking about how he’s destructive, deserves to be there for existing. he’s fire nation, blah blah blah. hasn’t even noticed Arthur picking the lock. Basically they travel together and hijinks ensue. Arthur wouldn’t be any type of bender, but his brothers are. so he’s learned a lot by watching them and their lessons, so he tries to use that to help Lud control his fire. 

I only just thought of this today. so it’s not fleshed out. will it ever be? lord knows.
