I could write about

An untamed nature

That swells my heart

with awe

Flocks of radiant clouds

Flirting with a scented breeze

Is a sight for me to behold

Or i could write a piece

on love

But more often than not

It meets a tragic ending

which hurts

Even though i ache

To find a 'happily ever after'

So much

/

I could try to become

A philosopher

And write about

some deep musings

on life

That strikes my mind

on nights

i turn an insomniac

By my bedside

/

But a reality that remains

Brutally static

For reasons i

Cannot fathom till now

Is that in the absence

Of a prompt

I cannot find a direction

For my muddled thoughts

To seep into a paper

And leave lasting imprints

For anyone to

Actually enjoy

I just LOVE being overlooked by everybody! It makes my self-worth increase exponentially when people you have known for YEARS and watched you grow up and STILL be involved in their community picks someone else for an honor. I. JUST. LOVE. IT
