If warframe ever wanted to include backrooms style liminal shit into their collection of minigames/games within their main game, 100% hands down my vote is for the drifter on the Zariman.
Imagine if before they figured out how to control the manifesting in order to make duviri, long, long before, it began as rooms breaking liminality.
Jumping through space as the places they were looking for were just around the corner, or when they were lost, everything truly let them get lost. Rooms after rooms after rooms. Walking past the core seven times on multiple sides of a straight line. Rooms that are just off from what they'd expect, warped by fear and memories and growing angels. Empty elevator shafts where none could have possibly been before. Ceilings that dont connect to the walls. Stairs that just keep going, leading on and on and on and on. Turning the corner from a room lit by a glass window out into the writhing void, finding another hallway on the other side. And as it gets worse, the way home just keeps on getting harder and harder to find. At some point dormizones stop happening. Living quarters are reduced to bare walls in the vague shape of what should be there, because they aren't home. Cots swing in empty corridors, still warm, though the drifter wasn't the one to set them up.
And always, that soft singing. The voices of those they'd loved, beckoning them deeper and deeper into insanity. No angels awaken, no liminus crawl. No foes to fight. Just silence and song.
