are you busy writing that sexuality dystopia story, of the three islands? saw a thread, and you offered to write the novel. i'm checking in, cos i'm so hoping someone actually pulls through, else imma do it.

Technically? Yes. However *Ryan Bergara voice* that being said

on a technicality (I love technicalities these days!), I am not busy writing it, because I am busy with just about everything else. Even when I do have downtime, other projects require and want attention. This is not to say that I do not pay as much attention to this as I do others. Putting out there? I am not a particularly fast nor a particularly good writer. Y’all have startling amounts of faith in me, which I appreciate (and worry about, a good chunk of the time).

Which brings us, just off this side of the beaten track, to a side note:

Maybe send the check-ins a little...less?

Don’t get me wrong, I love getting asks! I love your enthusiasm for this thing I have yet to properly create! But when they mostly vary along the vein of “did you write it have you written it hey where is it you said you were gonna do it wHERE”...you can see how I’m a little reluctant to answer these. You’ve all been really respectful and polite and I am infinitely grateful for that! If you want to ask about characters, parts of the world, please fricking do. I’ll answer them to the best of my ability. if you ask me about my day I might actually cry and hug you.  Just don’t only ask about whether there’s a complete/incomplete product yet.

I don’t think this actually answers your question, but. I tried? A for effort?
