Yoo! :) Sorry about the anon. My whump blog is secondary and won't let me do asks. I confess that I don't really care for the whump aftercare. What gets me is the moment it happens and the moments right after. When he gasps after being shot and falls to the ground, when he's laying there wheezing, staring at his bloody hands and wound in shock, and his concerned friend rushes over. Cutting straight to the hospital is such a disappointment. I guess the acting of pain is what gets me?? ~withywhump

I agree! The dazed look right after being shot or stabbed, not quite registering what happened to them, yet. And OMG skipping the “back-of-the-van” or “back-of-the-truck” or ambulance scenes drives me crazy!

Haha, it gives me life, too! Which is a good thing, probably, because I’m pretty sure @frenchpichux has figured out a way to slowly drain the life out of me and I’d be dead by now if not for the life gained from bantering with her ;)
