I think some of my draw more toward femininity now as someone who has been out as transmasc for years now (still.. pre-everything but a social transition, haha...) is that the femininity is now my choice. I'm no longer regularly interacting with people who will enforce it on me as per the status quo because that's what a doctor decided I should be based on some external appearance of my genitals and nothing else, femininity is now something I can make the decision to choose to connect with or explore, rather than being a role I'm "supposed" to play.

I think I read something once about how transitioning oftentimes means running from something and then choosing to meet it again on the other side, and I think that's an apt way to describe it. I never wanted to "run" from femininity, but having it forced on me left me with little choice. I wouldn't be taken seriously if I didn't abandon it. I want to connect to my femininity again. I want to engage with it, I want to have control over it for myself. I don't want other people deciding it for me.

I have a complicated relationship with my own permaregression because I'm married and I don't want to be like "hey btw I constantly feel like I'm mentally younger than I actually am involuntarily all the time." And have the people around me start treating me like I have no agency or autonomy and can't engage in certain topics or activities or make my partner feel gross for loving me, but I also feel weird being treated like an adult... Sometimes I worry that the constant DW bashing the FUNHOUSE fandom tends to do is just gonna end up turning people away from choosing FUNHOUSE as their new alternative after being burned by Dandy's World. Like, please, if you are trying to get people to try a game you like, especially one that is still young and gaining traction, don't open your appeal by shitting on a game they enjoyed and are likely still feeling sore about.

My cat got home from his procedure and he looks sooo rough :(( I'm home alone trying to help him but I'm a little lost, I cannot parse these care instructions. They're simple, I should be able to read them and understand it, but it's not clicking. He looks so rough :((((
