I drew it yesterday. Now digital art is mostly for work, and I enjoy it a lot! But sometimes I need something different, to draw for myself and just have fun with the digital medium. This dtiys with its lovely characters was perfect for this!

welcome to wizard wednesday, where i show off a piece of my humble wizard collection every wednesday! this week we have:

Royal Doulton Wizard Bunnykins

i love this charming boy and his glasses. with a starry pointed hat, book, and orb, he is a beautiful archetypal wizard that just happens to also be a rabbit. i can't believe they named him bunnykins. he's made of ceramic with a rather muted palette that's a little hard to photograph, but he's one of the cherished favorites of my colleciton.

this one i found on etsy, and i know almost nothing about him. he kind of falls almost into clown territory with his ruffled collar, but the hat really screams wizard to me so that's what i'm calling him. old and delightful.
