should a wizard become startled or come under attack, they will shed their larger hat in a manner akin to lizards that shed tails.

they will then magically enlarge the secondary hat to replace its counterpart while they search for a hat to tuck inside.

hey ! people who contributed to donations for the button machine !

i'm ready to start production on buttons which means i am finally asking anyone who contributed to donations for the machine in august to get in touch for the free buttons promised !

you can fill out this form here to get in touch. once i hear from you i'll reach out with information and button designs you can choose from and keep folks updated about button and shipping progress.

big long post thanks for bearing with me

a few days ago i reached a $60 goal for funds for a button maker to make custom wiz buttons with. after calling around a bunch of local stores yesterday and looking into online options, it looks like the machines I had initially been looking at are either scams or not worth the money and are going to make shitty buttons that won't last very long.

I was debating getting something cheap but I think in the long run, I would rather ask for some help to buy a good quality machine than buy a cheap one that will make poor quality buttons and need to be replaced soon. buttons and stickers and stuff is something a lot of people have asked for and i'd like to do it right.

I want to be fully transparent about what I am using this money for, and exactly how much an initial batch of materials plus the machine would cost.

Currently looking at this model/kit here, it's consistently the most reccomended machine and one i've used before through a job, so i'm familiar with it and know it works well. the buttons it makes are 1.5 inches (38mm). the $60 i already got will go to this so i'm looking for somewhere between $240 and $300.

i'm not asking for this without offering something in return. I said this on the ko-fi page, but if you contribute to this or you already have, when I start selling them shoot me an email (at [email protected]) with the subject "button donation" or something like that and a receipt/screenshot of your contribution and I'll mail you whichever one you'd like on da house <|:•D These are some of what i plan on making that u can choose from if ya donate. it's only 1/4 or so of the designs so there will be more if none of these speak to you !

you by no means have to donate or feel bad about not donating/not being in a place to. if even a quarter of the people who follow me gave just a dollar I could afford like 8 of these things, so really no huge pressure to donate that much or at all, even if you plan on getting buttons when i start selling them, it's really not necessary unless you have a couple bucks to spare for this.
