For @bobbykitty4ever, who asked for more WizardSwan: Good Place AU, in which Emma dies and gets sent to The Good Place....but things keep going wrong. She confides in Merlin, her designated soulmate, that something is seriously forked up.

You know Emma and Merlin could have really worked. Imagine they brought him on in S2 and he started out as Emma's trainer, over time they develop a bond and deep trust and they have this slow burn romance that probably begins with a passionate kiss after they just look at each other and realize this is what they want. I think that would have been a unique relationship.

I will forever be a Swanfire shipper, but–as is customary with OUAT–the Merlin/ Emma relationship was another wasted potential. I could have seen them having a similar relationship to Cora/ Rumple, but the light version: as her mentor, he teaches her to find her own strength, and slowly falls for her over time. And then one day, after Emma’s been struggling to decipher her own feelings for a while, impulses take over and they realize how much the other really means to them.

NEVER ever over emma’s magical friendships!!

both elsa & merlin essentially helped (in one way or another) emma not only w/ her magic but w/ truly accepting herself & her worth & this makes me VERY DAMN EMOTIONAL!!

apart from their own arcs, they were/are both there to help her on her journey, in her growth, help her overcome horrible obstacles in her path (ingrid’s machinations, the darkness &etc)

Wizard Swan

Wow! @fromtheashess I had no idea I wasn't the ONLY person open to shipping Wizard Swan (your post, here).

I thought it was possible, that once we knew Walsh was just a guy a from Kansas (who, admittedly may have done some not so great things as the Wizard) who had been turned into a flying monkey minion of Zelena's, that all that time as a monkey/henchman might have caused him to repent for any past transgressions--and that in that year with Emma that maybe, he too, felt like he had found something 'pretty great'.

She admitted she had been in love with/loved him.

And he was a character that knew about magic, so Storybrooke, etc would not have freaked him out.

And Henry was okay with him.
