she’s laying on his bed when he walks in, flat on her stomach, legs in the air as though she has little care in the world. and in truth, she does ----- not much can get to kaia, not with her attitude. her hands are running over the alchemy book she’s reading, but her head averts upwards at the sound of somebody entering. she remembered when she convinced a slytherin in the year above to tell her where their common room was: the houses common rooms were so hard to find. kaia would never admit to missing her slytherin friend, not to his face, but she certainly did. a whole summer in paris was brilliant, but she hated being away from her friends. hand moved up to her cheek, and she smiled brightly at oz. “didn’t think you’d mind.” she hummed, slamming her book shut. “after all, we all know how EASY it is to get into your common room. and your housemates are so easy to sneak around...”

Muttering to himself, he didn’t notice the other man nearby. He was too busy looking at his paper with the football rankings in it to notice. “Not even in forst or second place in the standings. In division two. Get it together Magpies. Yeur lettin’ the Toon fans down.”
