Metal Charmer is a profession in the wizarding world, an uncommon but lucrative profession that is global. Metal-Charmers are responsible for imbuing metalcraft with certain magical properties via charms. Metal Charmers work their metal in such a way where their metal in such a where the magic infused in them remain even after post-mortem. Naturally, magical objects like golden snitches, sneakoscopes, and quidditch stadiums are made by them.
Most commonly metal charmers take on “charmer names” or sobriquets when working. Their fields range from architecture to fashion. Many are highly skilled in charms, alchemy, transfiguration, non verbal and martial magic.
