What kind of Muggle technology would the wizarding world use in 2022?

The following Muggle technologies are the most advanced technologies mentioned in canon:

cars (although adapted with magic)

radios

escalators and elevators

indoor plumbing

radio (but not telephones!)

cameras

I've heard people mention zippers, but I can't remember where in the text a wizarding-made garment is mentioned that explicitly features a zipper.

The latest of the inventions, excluding the zipper, are the escalator and radio, circa 1890s. The basic concept of the zipper was first created in the 1850s, but zippers were not fully developed or commercially available until roughly the 1910s. In the absence of canon evidence for wizarding zippers, I'm going to exclude zippers from the conversation and suppose that the latest Muggle technologies to be integrated into the wizarding world originate around 100 years prior to canon, in the 1890s.

Following this logic, wizards living in 2022 would, by now, have also integrated Muggle technologies from the 1900s to the 1920s, which might include:

frozen foods

vacuum cleaners (though probably unnecessary in a magical context)

the assembly line or industrial production of goods (also likely unnecessary)

washing machines

film

dishwashers

refrigerators

toaster

electric irons

I believe this would make Arthur Weasley very pleased. However, we are unlikely to see the wizarding cellphone or wizarding Google until the 2090s.

NEWANDS Launches New Collaboration with Malfoy Corp.

Two years ago, Malfoy Corp. launched the wizarding web browser Accio in a groundbreaking attempt to merge magic and muggle technology. Providing unprecedented access to magical knowledge, as well as widespread connectivity once only dreamed of, Accio has become an integral part of wizarding life.

The latest push in Accio’s web wizarding has come in the form of Accio Connect, a spell-link platform that enables witches and wizards to connect to Accio using just their wands. It creates a neural link between the wand owner and the browser, removing the need for screen-based interfaces. 

Its initial release met with mixed reviews. While the spell-link technology was an undeniable step forward for the wizarding world, the wands that Accio released for paired use were often faulty and temperamental. 

There may now be a solution, however, and a surprising one.

At today’s press conference at Malfoy Corp., sustainable wandmakers NEWANDS announced the launch of a new line of wands with built-in Accio Connect technology. 

Each wand is built with a biodegradable entwined core, comprising a traditional core extracted from a magical creature as well as a spelled circuitboard string. They are charged wirelessly by resting the wand tip on the charging buttons provided.

Despite the wand company’s stratospheric growth in recent years, this collaboration comes as a surprise to many; NEWANDS CEO Susan Bones has engaged in a very public feud with Malfoy Corp. CEO Draco Malfoy for many years, famously calling him ‘an unmitigated goblin’s arse’ at the 2012 Web Wizarding Summit.

Both parties were on their best behaviour at the press conference, however, and it seems they have decided to bury the hatchet for the sake of wizarding progress (and, it must be said, a sure increase in profit).

The new line of Accio Connect wands will be launched this weekend at NEWANDS’s Diagon Alley flagship store. The wands will also be available on Accio Marketplace.

Malfoy Corp shocks world, launches first wizarding web browser

MALFOY CORP. LAUNCHES FIRST WIZARDING WEB BROWSER

In what many consider a shocking move, Malfoy Corp. has unveiled Accio, a web browser for wizards. The conglomerate revealed at last night's press conference that CEO Draco Malfoy personally hired a small set of muggle-born software engineers for the project, including Mara Finch-Fletchley, a prominent member of the Muggle-Born Coalition for Justice.

'We are very proud of Accio,' said Malfoy in his opening speech. 'It is certainly time for the wizarding world to move forward in terms of technology, and bringing muggle tech and magic together opens up very exciting possibilities.'

Exciting and lucrative, it seems, for in the few hours following the launch, the company's stocks have gone up by 17.5 percent. 

The web browser, which provides unprecedented instant access to magical knowledge, also comes with the major wizarding web applications built into its interface: Marketplace, the all-purpose wizarding store; Orpheus, the wizarding music hub; Floo-net, the global map of existing floo networks; The Daily Prophet, the online newspaper; and Mugglemail, the electronic mail system. 

'For the first time, wizards everywhere can do all these things on the go, using just one device. That's the philosophy behind the name -- instant access. These devices might have been invented by muggles, but they are clearly the product of something approaching magic, and can only be improved by wizarding engineering.'
