Digimon Adventure: Episode 37 Review

Something I noticed today~

Well, Wizardmon's Gift played today, but after finally seeing the original Japanese, I can't help but see Wizardmon's sacrifice and Gatomon's triumph be overshadowed by 

1. The dub script trying to write out the fact he died at all. Even going as far as trying to censor the thing and cut and copy scenes (a common thing for the dub). If it weren't for 02 and the fact he's never shown again, his fate would be a mystery. 

2. Digivolution sequences; these were unchanged from the original but DAYUM there were a whole bunch. I'm sure the abridged version would be ridiculously short.

3. And of course! "Hey Digimon" in all the wrong places. lol

In episode 37 Wizardmon's Gift Angemon hits Myotismon with his Hand of Fate attack & the aftermath obliterates Phantomon which is an ultimate by the way. Seeing as Angemon is a champion who's attack didn't even hit him yet successfully destroyed that digimon means that he's a pretty strong Champion, wouldn't you say?
