Full: I’ve loved Digimon Adventure for basically as long as I can remember, but I’ve only ever been able to watch the dubs (can never find the subs anywhere, even with a VPN. I’m trying!!). I worry it makes me less of a fan because I can’t get a full grasp on the characters without being able to watch the original, especially with the 02 cast.

PSA!!! For those who don't know!!! Digimon Adventure and 02 HAS BEEN RELEASED on Blu Ray, In BOTH Subbed and Dubbed!!! (But separate releases). They also have 2 collections of Digimon movies, one with the original first 3, the original DUB, AND!!! They actually got together all the cast of the original movie that's still alive and they redubbed those three movies! Uncut, with a mix of being more faithful but still having some of the dub's humor. It's worth checking out!! (...I'm not supposed to comment on anything but I hope this was okay in this case, people need to know they are out!)

Despite being a huge Digimon fan and having repeatedly dragged my friends into the franchise, kicking and screaming, I have yet to finish a SINGLE Digimon game.

FULL CONFESSION: I am a huge fan of digimon like Ranamon, Ladydevimon and Lilithmon (gender envy) but it can be hard to find fan content that is isn't lewd and am very self-conscious that people will think I only like them for the wrong reasons. I don't want them as waifus I want them as besties!

I finished digimon adventure 1999 days ago and i can be sincere? i dont think tai x matt is that "wonderful" ship i like taito but for me matt x joe is a very better ship

Shoutmon X2 > Shoutmon X3

They shouldnt of tried to make another omnimon like and should of made Shoutmon X3 have the quirky clunky design thats so charming of X2

I love the dub, I love the jokes. Some are lame but some are amazing. One that sticks in my mind the most for some reason, is when the 02 go to the Digital World to find the emperor, and someone says "Where-is'e?" And TK replies, "Izzy? We're looking for Ken!" ... It kills me, and every time I hear someone say "Where Is He" I always wanna say that.

I don't really get why Xros Wars got so much content, almost comparable to Adventure and 02. It didn't have much digimon appeal to me, but maybe I'm missing something there?

I love Matt from digimon! It's not really crush related reasons unless it kizuna! Matt. I love him because I related to him when I was a child as I had social problems due to trauma and his voice actor specifically Michael Reisz. Michael is so precious and a very kind man. He's one of the other reasons I love Matt so much.

The best digievolution line is renamon's whole line. Peak design for all stages.

I love how all the digimon and digidestined have a special bond, digmon adventure was the best. Original for the win.

i think if people read into Xros Wars hard enough, it could be absolutely tragic

Honestly T.k. was the backbone of the entire 02 group.

The people complaining about BeatBreak were clearly expecting another regurgitated adventure work, because this is the first season where they truly acknowledge the viewer isn’t another 10 yo kid - the franchise is finally looking at the older fans and nodding at us after the games take a much more mature turn.

I had limited access to the internet growing up. I would literally watch "digimon: the movie" over and over again on vhs. It lead me to have an obsession with drawing monsters and the desire to runaway with friends to experience freedom. Good times <3
