I feel like quandrix has great fic potential just from math/magic interactions that Wizards are greatly underutilizing. Like, imagine magical topology, where students learn to draw 4+ dimensional spell circles that a mage unfamiliar with higher maths can't even interpret. Imagine a kid who just took discrete mathematics gifting his exasperated silverquill friend a constuct that automatically points out the fallacies in their opponent's arguments. Quandrix students calculating the time and date for optimal prismari stargazing or running the differential equations for a witherbloom chemistry project. There's just so much space for creativity there
