A red flash passed through the halls before stopping in the living room of the base huffing in an annoyed manner. "I left it right here... Where could it have gone?" Bart said more to himself then anyone as he zoomed around tossing pillows and cousins about. "Okay someone took it and I will become such a nuisance to everyone. And that's a fair warning to anyone in ear shot!" That last part he wanted people to hear.
Aqualad silently watched the sea. This is where he came to think, the steady hum the ocean sang was calming to him. Calm. Something that he desperately wanted now a days. It was ironic really, all those times he wished to be treated like he was a member of the league and now he was practically the leader of the new one. The responsibility was almost crushing, but he wouldn’t let anyone know that. His head turned as he heard someone approach him. “What do you need?” he said with a bit of a snap in his voice. Aqualad shook his head realizing the tone of his voice. “My apologies” his face softened up a bit from the stiffness, “Is there something that I can assist you with?”
