Dating as a black femme is so hard imo cuz why does it feel like that lowkey every lesbian im into/seeing sees me as masculine and makes me feel masculine?? Like idk how to explain it. I know it deffo comes Eurocentricism and all that (especially here in America) but like I also dk how to explain it… the only types of lesbians I’ve dated who haven’t made me feel masculine are other black lesbians, but I live in a predominantly white area.

And if I’m being honest it’s not even only white lesbians that make me feel/treat me masculine it’s other non-black POC lesbians too!! 😭

Like it’s gotten to a point where I feel like I might as well just start presenting masc and get it over with because I’m tired of being treated like I’m someone who’s inherently masculine for whatever reason… I’m not.

The underutilisation of Wonder Woman is something that genuinely hurts my soul.

She has so much goddamn potential but DC writers fail her almost every time.

Her entire background and personality- coming to Man's World to help fight evil while simultaneously kicking the patriarchy's ass- is so top tier. She's kind in a way that can only be possible if you have the strength.

And I know many superheroes are generally built upon the foundation of both hope and power, but WW just seems to do it differently. She wouldn't hesitate to kill a person who poses a constant threat to humanity, unlike Batman and Superman, but she's compassionate enough to help those in need.

Plus, her connection with Greek mythology is such a pathway for many rich plot events and possibilities. But DC fumbles that too.

And I just may be biased with this one, but I'd love to see her kiss women. She's canonically bisexual and preferences do exist, but what's the point of writing a character with rep if you're not going to let them represent??

My only hope for any changes is James Gunn tbh. The new Superman movie was so good so I have very high hopes for his plans for WW.

For now however, Wonder Woman's greatest villains will always be her writers.
