hello everyone, jodi here. decided to redo my intro post because i’ve re-formed everything and wanted to make it look pretty. i am still so excited to be writing this precious ball of sunshine. as one of the admins, i will spend tuesdays and thursdays on the main blog but that doesn’t mean i won’t be around for help the rest of the week. i am from the EST time zone and have been writing sasha on the indies since april 2016. 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒅. this anime watching, free spirited, competitive women is open to any and all plots. ♡
( one ) my character is written as a mix of both her on screen character as well as her real life. real life is special to the wrestlers and i try to make sure that i keep a respectful line to the life they’ve protected especially with someone like sasha who has been open about needing that divide between character and reality. mentions of sasha’s family will be extremely limited and only in a need to happen situation. unless previously discussed, do not call her mercedes.
( two ) sasha is a free spirit. since taking her hiatus, she has become very spirtual. deep into meditation and yoga, learning about healing crystals and living with a positive mind. all feuds, anger, negativity she felt before has been let go of. she tries to avoid the drama now, to be the bigger person and keep her head up but that doesn’t always work.
( three ) while it has been assumed by most people, sasha has never confirmed the fact that ryu is in fact a emotional support animal. while suffering through one of the hardest years of her life and deciding to take time away, the fear of being alone caused sasha to do the one thing she had always wanted - get a dog. ryu travelled with her for the first few weeks after she went back to work because the idea of him not being with her caused extreme anxiety.
( four ) wrestling has always been the first love of sashas life. it was her escape from real life and when she joined wwe, she had one goal in mind - change the game. nine years later and sasha has accomplished everything she wanted to and more. the achievements list is long and she knows that she is slowly running out of things to do, things to prove. there is only so much she can do and she knows that the end is coming faster than she would like to admit. she has began to make plans for what she wants to do when she leaves wrestling but if anyone asks her, she tells them that her mind is solely on wrestling - not ready to admit that she knows her career could end so soon.
