My style has changed a bit in almost a year. Lord Vane from WMOM again! I liked the texture of the old brush but I wanted to render this one more

wwyd if you found him like this? 🤔
Finally, finally read 'What Manner of Man' and it felt like someone finding the part of me gripped by no human name and offering it a hug.
what’s a normal way to flirt? uhhhh why don’t you pretend to kill me
Dearest sister Vera,

Faithfully yours in Christ,
Fr. Victor Ardelian
(Aka here’s some art of Victor Going Through It. Those uh. Those demons of yours, Victor.. the deeply repressed gay thoughts demonic influence… uh how’s that uh going for you right now??)
[character by @stjohnstarling. Also apologies for tagging you in so many of my posts good sir. In my defense I have a devastating hyperfixation on WMOM and the gay little priest]
My take on Father Ardelian from What Manner of Man, which is a very atmospheric and extremely neat gay vampire romance novel that I bought on a whim after taking a peek at the free version and liking what I saw; and given how notoriously picky I am about my vampires, that's rare. 100% worth it, no regrets, except maybe accidentally staying up until 10 AM reading the damned thing.
Anyway, the man wasn't supposed to turn out quite this twinky, but that's what I get for loosely referencing him off of Buster Keaton I guess.
