Sir Cedric Ó Cinnéde of the Seattle Knights (Carlin Kennedy) - Riding Lady Jane at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire - August 20, 2017
Midsummer 2021 AKA: The 35-day challenge.
Happy Faire Friday All!
Back in 2012, before I had officially moved to Washington State, I attended my first Midsummer Renaissance Faire, got hooked, and I've been going back, in one form or another, every available year since.
I've been an attendee, assistant shopkeep, Knight,... however, as some of you may know, for the last few years, I've also been trying to get a spot for all things Archer Inventive.
That was until July 2nd of this year!!! When I got my official acceptance letter to vend at this year's fair!!
So with just over a month to get everything from the tent to the merchandise ready, I went to it.
It took a lot of long nights, and help from some amazing people including Michael Peimann, Rae, Sarah Florian, Kayce Katherine, Deathbright, and Rick Van Meter to bring it all together, and I couldn't be more proud/ happy.
Thank you all!
A huge thank you as well to everyone who was able to find us on the Queens Road, and who made the event possible! It was so wonderful seeing you all again, even during these uncertain times, and in the 99-degree heat we had the second weekend.
Thank you for keeping us sold out for most of the fair, no matter how fast we tried to restock, and for all your amazing comments, and conversations. You're all wonderful.
Fingers crossed we'll be invited back for an even bigger and better year in 2022.
I see even grander things for the booth and the shop on the horizon.

Stay Safe. ❤️
Excited to wear my Princess Buttercup at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire!
It's the first costume I've made that really heavily changed the original pattern I was working with. It's not exactly screen accurate (one of the biggest changes is that mine is a dress with a blouse over top) but I'm really proud of what I accomplished with it!
tryna spell the rain away (it didn't work)
