Frozen Earth || Victor & Gabriel
Victor was thankful of all the holidays, it was Alvasidhe that Mr. Brinon allowed him to have to himself. The Zephrins had all worshiped Mina with earnest, but Victor -- the boy they’d left behind -- found himself drawn to Alva. It was not that he did not respect Mina or any of the other gods, but here, in the forests near the river, he could feel Alva with him. No other god spoke to him the way Alva did. And as he held his private ceremony for the ruler of the forests, he let his magic slowly emerge.
Eyes sliding shut, Victor was in a place of contentment. The trees, the dirt, the rocks -- all of it felt an extension of himself. And oh, it felt like he could go on forever. A smile settled onto his tired face, his magic rolling outward still. So lost was he in his reverie, that he did not notice the man who approached.
