there’s this relatively successful Aussie model taking a ‘stand’ on her personal passion of anti-fur . (which as a proud mommy of many fur babies completely support) but basically she goes on about how as a model you’re not at the whim of designers and clients , and how you should stand up for your principles - I.e do what’s right. This led to her making the very very very (very) stressful decision of leaving her shoot after getting her make-up completed (better late than never - time is money etc). I’m just wondering if she feels like this for less popular values (but arguably more pertinent) like standing up to fast fashion (slave labour & pollution) and the infantilisation , over sexualisation and misleading photoshopping of the female body (a idealistic , impossible and damaging comment on ageing and perfection) and not just fur.
