I can't brush these hairstyles out. Are they both becoming Owen Wilson?

At the age of four and a half Gwyn is developing coat volume (poofy). The poofy in her head tuft plus the asymmetrical bob is giving her a sort of lion's mane look, I think.

What are you doing with all that hair? You are a working line, what could you possibly need with those luscious locks?

... are you smuggling toys in your skirts?

You would never know that just 15 minutes before, she skidded through a pocket gopher pile of mudsand so dramatically that 1) we said "let's go 'walk' through the longest wet grass we can find" and 2) we spent that 'walk' talking about Pete Rose and stealing home base. So muddy. SO muddy! But it's amazing how her coat sheds sand and debris, especially with a little encouragement from the wet vegetation.
