I'm so sorry this is awful. Where exactly do you live? (like not exact exact, like country/state/province whatever)? And all over a buffet.... like... that's a bit more than ridiculous.
It really is overly ridiculous! We live in South Carolina in the US, and our biggest problem with winter weather is the ice. What we’re getting tonight is going to start out as rain, but as the temperature plummets, it’s going to turn into freezing rain, with the water that’s already on the roads freezing, then eventually turn all snow. We’re only supposed to get between 1-2 inches of snow, but it will be slick ice on top and bottom both. But the biggest risk comes from other drivers, who don’t know how to drive in those conditions, and won’t or can’t stay home. They slip and slide into other cars and cause accidents, sometimes very severe. There’s just no way to safely drive on ice, and I refuse to let my husband risk his life just so some rich people can have breakfast without leaving their fancy hotel.
