I just had the thought: how high would childhood literacy rates be in daybreak town??? Did the dandelions have to teach Ven how to read???

I would assume everyone at least knows how to read at a basic level, like to read mission boards and shop signs. But yeah, things could be a bit spotty…

I like to imagine Ven has some type of learning disability that makes it harder for him to read, so the others help him out, but maybe because he’s younger and because the war broke out, he also just wasn’t able to get the same amount of education as everyone else (how exactly that happens is a whole different question…Foretellers? Chirithy classes?? Moogle teachers??)
