Alternate universe where the Dandelion kids are depressed art students:

Ventus is this gifted kid that got praised all his life and got into college at an impressivly young age but he puts so much pressure on himself that he thinks everything he makes sucks despite being the most talented person here. This guy will cry if he gets anything but an A and people hate him for it because they see him as an attention seeker but he genuienly has such a warped perception of his work that he just thinks he sucks. Hes putting so much pressure on himself that hes genuienly losing his passion and is this close to quitting art alltogether and the only reason he hasnt already done that is that he doesnt have any other things he can do and is scared of dissapointing people

Ephemer has these incredible big and ambitious ideas but overestimates the skill and time he has constantly so it just ends up biting him in the ass. He thinks too much outside the box for people to really grasp his vision and appreciate his creations

Skuld plays things too safe. She thinks too much inside the box and puts rules on her art where there should be none. She overthinks everything too much and tries to do everything right but it also ends up biting her in the ass because yeah. She did everything right. But her work isnt anything new and it doesnt feel like theres any soul in it. She also kinda gives me the vibe of that one phrase "I have the gift to copy. Not create"

Brain lowkey does the bare minimum to get by unless he gets really passionate about something then he will pull 3 all-nighters in a row. He also doesnt really gaf about people thinking his work sucks and he just does his thing. UNLESS its about the thing he was passionate about he WILL throw hands if you tell him it sucks

Lauriam put too much on his plate. Hes basically the one who keeps half these people from quitting while having his own projects and possible part time job. Hes barely getting any of his assignments done and while he may seem like hes perfectly holding it together hes this close to a total burn out and currently experiences art regression

Strelitzia is like ventus convinced that what she does isnt really great and she doesnt take criticism well at all but unlike him she didnt grow up as gifted kid who got in at an impressively young age. Critique day is her biggest nightmare and she has major imposter syndrome. Shes quick to think that people think what she created sucks and her brothers reassurance is the only thing that really holds her together. She really loves art but she really doesnt like anyone looking at it and she liked what she made a lot more before she started college

Im not sure about Elrena honestly but she gives me major "Im not a violent person but i make things with Aggression" vibes
