Awesome freaking question I received today asking about Porter's style. The only thing is, I wish I knew! My best guess is a casual simplified (watered down) goth Ouji style? But I didn't really have a specific named style in my mind. I had a general idea? I kinda wanted thigh highs in the beginning. But it felt a bit too derivative tbh. You may notice my sketch looks very similar to how the final looked, but there's a bunch of random styles on the lower half thrown in. In the coloring phase I struggled to balance between the lights and darks. Bottom half was too dark. I struggled and experimenting over and over trying to figure out what to do. In the end I settled on changing the boots and making them white.
