I totally see his Wolf form with light brown or caramel brown fur
He is a friendly and cute persona but when someone attacks his pack his family
Jeez u done for
He fights for his loved ones
He is not the strongest beta
But he will fight
He always gets seen as the Mother of BTS
He wasn’t the first member of the pack but he helped the two first members a lot
Also the maknaes
These three had a sad past and were so happy as Jin helped them grow up and took them in with a smile
He is the oldest and really wants to find his mate
He sometimes gets really sad because he feels lonely
That feeling comes pretty often when one of the other members finds his mate first
He wants that to but he would also be happy for the mated member
These boys deserve their mates
So when he goes to the nearest city to find new vegetable seeds for his garden were he grows his own plants the maknaes played fighting and rolled threw his garden and destroyed a few
(Man did he scold the three youngest they are grown Wolfs but still are like pups sometimes)
He smells a sweet scent that reminds him of freshly baked sweets
He follows that particular smell and then he finds the source
Y/N
His heart went wild in his chest and he would have jumped at her in the middle of the store but he could tell that she was human
Good for him that you’re standing in front of the seeds he needs
So he takes deep breaths to calm down
But in the end it just makes him more nervous because he smells you
So he goes up to you
“Excuse me but I need to get those”
He points at the seeds he needs and you go to the side
After he grabs what he needs he looks at you and goes
“You look a little confused, do you need help?”
And you explain how you just moved here because your grandparents died and you got the house that belonged to them
You just wanted to get a little peace and quiet and a little break from your life
(Basically the classic)
And surprise surprise you say
“The house is near the forest so it's a really great for peace and quiet”
And instantly after you said that you think loud
“Oh god I just told him that I live alone in a house that's a bit away from the city near a forest what if he is a serial killer and kills me tonight?”
Jin can’t hold it in and just wheezes
A few people look weirdly at him because he is laughing so loud
“I promise I won’t kill you”
“That's what serial killers say”
“Well now it’s too late isn’t it?”
“Yeah that's right now I can’t escape anyway”
Seokjin just looks at you with pure love in his eyes
But you don’t see it because you look at the seeds again
He loves you already
“So before the serial killer thing came up you asked if I needed help. My answer is yes. My grandma had a garden with herbs, flowers and vegetables and sadly no one cared for them after they both died and now I need new seeds to make it completely new”
“Well good for you that I am here because I have the knowledge and my own garden and I can help you”
So you guys just stand there for a whole hour while Jin explains what would be best for the beginning and what you can add later to the garden
Both of you just smile
Jin smiles because he has a passion for that stuff (Together with Namjoon)
And you smile because he talks about it with such a passion
“Can I ask you two questions?”
“Of course!”
“First what is your name?”
“Oh it's Kim Seokjin and yours?”
“I am (L/N) (Y/N)”
“A beautiful name”
“Thank you. Next question from where do you know that stuff?”
“Well Namjoon knows a lot about plants already and I knew a lot about growing your own edible plants so we combined it.”
“Well then I have a third question. Who is Namjoon?”
“I life together with my six friends we are like brothers and I cook most of the times”
“Must be cool having friends like that”
Seokjin nods and you both pay for your stuff and leave the store
“Thank you for your help Seokjin”
You already turn around to go your own way but Jin stops you
“Wait here is my number I would like to hear how your garden is going”
You take the paper with his number with a smile
“Okay see you later and thank you Seokjin”
“No problem Y/n. Next time you can call me Jin”
With a smile you turn around
“Alright, Bye Jin!”
Seokjin watches how you go your way back home with a smile and shining eyes
His wolf is whining to not let you go because he wants you near him 24/7
But Jin knows he needs to be careful because you are human and the most humans don’t know about Werewolves and he can’t risk losing you
So he goes home where the pack is waiting anxious because Jin just went out to get seeds for the garden this is not supposed to take that long
But the moment he steps inside the house everyone can see his big smile
And he just looks at everyone and goes
“I found her”
Everyone cheers and is so happy for him that he found his mate
Most of them know that you're gotta be a human already because since medieval times where werewolves got hunted down and they hid in the shadows of the forests of the world there are less werewolves than mates and since then it happens more often that humans became the mates of werewolves
Even if there is still a long way to go with you Jin is happy the whole freaking week
But at the end of the week he hasn't heard from you at all
So he worried if you were alright or if you didn’t wanted to talk to him
But in the middle of diner with the boys he got a text from an unknown number with an update about your garden and a little picture
This time Jin jumped through the house like a pup and not the maknaes
And the maknaes just watched and thought //Damn if that's love I want that too//
So Jin texted and met you for 3 months and was more and more in your life until you couldn’t think of one day without him
You figured he had his secrets because he disappeared for two whole day every full moon claiming that it’s fun days just with him and his best friends and that it was a ritual
Well you thought it was weird tho
What you didn’t found weird was that one month were Jin disappeared for a whole week because he said he was sick and needed the rest for his well being
(I mean could not be the best if he would tell you the truth that it was a whole week of hornynes where he would just gowl and wanted to fuck you into next week if he just got a text from you and that he was chained up in the basement for everyones well being)
You met his six best friends which he considers as brothers
They were so excited and happy to finally meet you
You told him about your family but the only family he talked about were his brothers
But even the boys saw that it got serious between you two
Friends nights became little dates and the dates became bigger
From a cute cafe date to a really beautiful restaurant
Until one day you two sat at the beautiful lake in the forest
“Y/n I need to tell you something. I am in Love with you. You are the best that happened in my life together with my brothers and I can’t imagine a day without you, but before you say anything back I need to tell you something really important. A secret I kept from you for a reason”
He stood up and brought a little distance between you two
“I am a werewolf and I am gonna show you”
He took his clothes off except his boxers and laid them to the side
“J-jin what are you doing?”
One second after she said these words the sound of breaking bones was heard in the forest
Jins body changed until there stood a big wolf on the place where he stood before
You hat a shocked expression and didn’t knew what to say
Jin slowly walked towards you almost afraid that you will disappear in a few seconds or run away
But you couldn’t run away Jin means so much to you
So you stretched out your hand and let it run threw his soft fur
“I love you to Jin”
Seokjin cuddled himself on to you and was happy than ever
The same evening you two returned to the pack house
The boys already knew that Jin wanted to tell you today and waited anxious for him to return
And as he returned in wolf form with you on his back they were so relieved and happy for Jin
Later in the night y/n and Jin laid together in bed and Jin explained a few things to her including mating, marking, heats and what happens on full moons
Yes it's a lot to take in but everyone was 100% sure that everything will go well with you and Seokjin
A/N this got a lot like an Imagine at the end but I like what I wrote and also I just wanted to do bts as werewolves headcanons but I think that develops into a story with the past and stuff but I ain’t complaining lmao
While you’re still processing the events from Halloween night, you run into a familiar face, or two.
Word Count: 5,124
Yawning deeply, you watch the steam from the espresso maker shoot out with a hiss and you fill the mug with coffee. Squirting the foamy milk next, you sprinkle some cinnamon on top before handing the latte to the waiting customer. The woman gratefully takes it, ushering her toddler to a table before the boy can grab an extra chocolate muffin from the display case. You softly smile at him and turn to the next customer, a business man just wanting a double shot of espresso. Ringing up his order, you quickly make the coffee, noting a group of college students coming inside as the line of patrons steadily extends.
Damn Elanor for calling in this morning. Your phone had pulled you from the depths of sleep as your co-worker asked if you could cover her shift, something about a last minute schedule change for a tutoring session. Her professor wanted her to come in and help a group of students. Mumbled groans were all you could manage as you partially listened, eyes barely opening to squint into the darkness. How she functioned at both the crack of dawn and late into the night, if needed, was beyond you.
The clock on the wall shows seven-thirty am, making the two and a half hours feel like days. Your actual shift doesn’t start until this afternoon and your outlook only dims as more customers keep filing in with no indication of stopping. Shaking your head, you rid the sluggish thoughts of sleep and continue working as the college students order an array of specific requests ranging from hot chocolate with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon to half-caff vanilla lattes, no added sugar. At least one just wanted a simple green tea.
~*~
You’re thankful when your other co-worker shows up for the evening shift, more than glad to pass the baton over. It’s a quarter until four and you’re ready to call it a day as you rush out the door, little bell chiming above your head.
Walking home, you automatically head towards the nature trail. Stopping just short, you watch the orange and red trees sway calmly in the faint breeze. With the sun shining above, the forest appears tranquil, offering no signs of danger. Despite your encounter Halloween night, there’s no way you could stop from venturing down the path. The events that night hardly seem real, easily feeling like an odd dream gone haywire as a result of your rampant imagination. Then again, your ankle makes sure to remind you as the long hours of standing causes it to make its presence uncomfortably known. Thankfully, the ache is fading, nearly gone except for the occasional twinge when you step a certain way. Regardless, the sun’s still out and the trail is more visible, so there’s no chance for you to accidentally wander off.
Resolutely, you head down the dirt path, paying close attention to your surroundings this time. The wind ruffles the trees, sending a shiver down your spine and you tuck your hands into the front pocket of your hoodie. Fall is on the brink of shifting into winter and the air is becoming frostier, your cheeks instantly cooling as a result. Hearing a rustling to your left, you cautiously stare into the cluster of trees.
Amber eyes, nearly blend in with the golden leaves, if not for the large brown lupine standing in between the trees. You don’t move, legs automatically stiffening in preparation to run as you wait for it to approach or retreat, though it appears to be observing you in the same manner.
Cautiously, you give a small smile and a short wave, body moving awkwardly with jerky motions. “Hello again.”
The wolf, taking that as a signal to come closer, walks out from its hiding spot, effortlessly stepping over short bushes as they snap from underneath. Just like on Halloween, its form towers over you as it stands tall on hind legs. Your head barely reaching the middle of its chest. When it’s standing directly in front of you, it carefully leans down and bumps its snout to your forehead. Your grin widens as warmth cascades throughout your body, muscles relaxing from their tense state. Inhaling quickly, it sniffs near your neck before moving down to your arms and shoulders. Its head retreats back up and you can’t help the twitch when its nose makes contact with the underside of your jaw, tickling your skin. It backs away slightly, a faint whine sounding as it notices you flinch.
“Don’t worry,” you reassure, “it just tickled, that’s all. You can probably smell all the coffee grinds and syrup from my job,” you note and the werewolf cocks its head curiously.
A low rumble begins in its chest, the same one you heard when you were being carried that night. Its caramel eyes regard you and again it gently bumps your head, a contented sigh leaving its maw.
“I guess you like the smell, huh?”
It grunts in agreement, seeming to respond to your question.
Lifting an arm, you carefully hold it up towards the beast and it stares down at you. Keeping eye contact with its golden irises, you tenderly touch its snout, the mocha-colored fur soft beneath your fingertips. The werewolf lowers its head some more, allowing you higher access, and you reach up to pet one of its triangular ears. It automatically twitches, so you switch tactics by gently scratching it instead. Another rumbling hum echoes from its chest, the tremors vibrating under your hand. Snorting softly, it bends down, body crouching to almost all fours where the wolf prods at your ankle.
“Are you wondering about my ankle?”
A low bark is your response and the werewolf stands upright.
“It’s doing better. Just a little sore that’s all.” You give a reassuring smile and it bumps its head against your shoulder.
A sudden growl disrupts the peaceful moment, echoing across the space, and you cringe when your stomach finally finishes its grumbling. The wolf hums curiously, cocking its head to the side. Slowly, it lifts a heavy paw and rests it on your abdomen. Despite your thick clothing, you can easily feel the sharp press of claws digging into your side, though the weight isn’t uncomfortable.
“Sorry, I kind of missed my lunch break.” Despite a brief lull once the lunch traffic left, you only had time to munch on a bag of chips before you went back to work. Apparently your snack has completed its purpose of temporarily sating your appetite and has now worn off.
The wolf grumbles, chocolate colored ears flattening against its skull before it’s leaning down to bite the back of your hood so it can pick you up. Just like before, you dangle quite a few feet from the ground as you’re carried over to a nearby tree stump and promptly placed on top. Once you’re sitting on the makeshift wooden seat, you glance up at the werewolf and it shifts its head away, pointedly looking down at the fallen autumn leaves before caramel eyes rise to meet you. There’s a moment where neither of you move, animal and human quietly watching one another. That is, until your body once again voices its hunger.
With a swift nudge to the side of your head along with a huff of air that fans your face, you watch the wolf spin around and dash into the trees, a flash of mocha-colored fur soon disappearing. You can only stare wide-eyed as you watch the shaking branches come to a stop, the sound of the animal’s steps fading away. For a split-second, you’re mortified that your grumbling appetite spoiled the mood by running the werewolf away.
A few minutes pass and eventually you see a dark figure coming through the tree line.
It appears your friend is back, and it seems to have brought an offering.
In its maw, a large branch is caught between its teeth, a couple of peaches hanging from the leaves. The wolf steps closer, lowering its head so the branch is within reach.
“Is this for me?” You wonder, eyeing the ripe fruit that appears to glisten in the sunshine. It grunts in affirmation and you pluck the peaches free, stuffing them in the pocket of your hoodie while you hold onto two of them. Taking a bite, you feel the sweet juice flood your tongue and you hum delightfully. “Sweet,” you murmur, holding out the other one in offering. “Want one?”
Your lupine friend rumbles, seemingly pleased with your reaction as it tosses the now barren branch away and opens its mouth to accept the peach. It takes a huge bite, eating it whole, teeth easily crushing the pip with a distinguished crunch while its tail sways back and forth in contentment.
After finishing one, you reach for another and start chewing it too. “Thank you,” you hum, standing up as you start walking again. It rumbles briefly and follows after you, staying close beside you, heavy steps thumping on the dirt with each stride. The two of you walk in silence, the air soothing as you eat. “So what happened Halloween night, that was real. You’re real, I guess,” you note. The werewolf hums, nodding in response.
“Do those goblins roam around in this forest too?” Unease prickles your arms at the thought of the creatures having free reign of the woods with nothing to prevent them from wreaking havoc as much as they pleased.
A quick shake of the wolf’s head lessens your worry, even more so when it grunts, clearly displeased at the thought.
“That’s good,” you say before adding, “but you can. Do you live here?”
A nod.
“I see.” You pause, pursing your lips momentarily. “Are you like a guardian of this forest?”
Another nod.
“Interesting. I figured, since you’re obviously not dangerous—,” a huff of annoyance has you amending that statement, “to humans, er, me, I mean.”
It chuffs in agreement, caramel eyes warm as it stares down at you. Sinking your teeth in the peach for another bite, the juice drips from your mouth and onto your hand. You go to swipe the sticky substance on your clothes, but the wolf beats you to it as it brings its head down, nudging your arm. Raising your palm upwards, you allow the mocha-colored lupine to clean your hand, long, pink tongue licking away the nectar.
Stopping in the middle of the trail, you observe the traces of clear saliva on your skin, the drool sliding down your wrist as you follow its path. “Thanks,” you say before rubbing your hand on your pants as you continue walking once more.
You make small talk, with the occasional huff or grunt of response as it listens to your recollection of the day, how customers come and go at a fast pace, but how you also enjoy the constant movement.
Soon you’re arriving at the edge of the woods, house sitting in the near distance. Tossing the peach pit to the ground, you stop and turn to the wolf who’s watching you. “Thanks for keeping me company, and for the food too,” you say, and the brown wolf rumbles before bumping your head lightly with its own. “I’ll see you around, I guess.”
The wolf nods before tilting its head to the side, giving a perplexed hum upon seeing your frown.
Laughing slightly, you shake your head. “It’s nothing. I just wish I knew what to call you, rather than just wolf,” you admit. “I mean; I was just assuming that you’re a boy. . .”
Another nod and you sigh in relief. “Well, I’m glad I was right. Maybe I should just keep it simple, like Wolfy, or something.”
The wolf snorts, shaking his head at the basic name.
“Well, I don’t have any other idea. Unless you’d prefer wolf man, Mr. Wolf, Fang maybe.”
He sneers, lips pulling back for a short second to reveal sharp teeth as he huffs in disdain before sighing in resignation, giving a gruff bark.
“Does Wolfy sound better now compared to the other ones?”
He growls almost begrudgingly, brown tail twitching as it harshly whacks the tree behind it, before faintly nodding.
“Alright, Wolfy, it is,” you grin and the werewolf rolls his caramel eyes at you. “See you around, Wolfy.” He leans close and swipes his pink tongue across your cheek, cold black nose bumping the spot right after. “Goodbye to you too,” you say, gently petting his snout.
Walking across the stiff brown grass, you climb up the steps of your porch. Looking into the forest, you barely catch a glimpse of golden eyes before they dissolve into the trees, autumn leaves masking everything else.

The next day, you’re setting the cups on the counter and calling out the order along with the names written on the side. A couple bundled within their coats come to retrieve their hot chocolate and iced coffee before exiting the shop, the bell above the door chiming loudly. When there’s a lull in customers, your co-worker practically collapses beside the cash register, upper body sprawling across the wooden countertop.
“Please no more customers for another two hours at least,” she groans, facedown on the aged counter.
Taking a wet rag, you wipe around her to get the sprinkles of food crumbs left by previous patrons. “Yeah, good luck with that,” you snort. “We’re just getting started with the night shift crowd.”
She sighs before righting herself as the door chimes, announcing the little old lady walking in with her small dog in tow, the pup popping its head out from her bag to watch the conversing and busy people. Her red clothes wave with the wind, curls of long white hair flying from the breeze. Plastering a chipper smile on her face, your co-worker turns with a greeting before she recognizes the short person.
“Another mix of autumn’s finest leaves, Ms. Penelope?” She asks the older woman who eagerly nods.
“Yes please, I’m afraid I ran out yesterday,” she explains, withered hand reaching into her pocket for some money to give you.
“I’ll be right back with that,” your co-worker tells her and you go to ring up the order.
Taking the change, you smile at the miniature beagle as it props its head against the edge of her purse. “How’ve you been doing, Ms. Penelope?” You ask, setting her change in the palm of her hand.
She promptly tosses the coins in the tip jar, the nickels and quarters clattering to the bottom. “Quite well, my dear. The weather has been so nice, hasn’t it?”
You nod. “It has. I hope you’ve been staying warm.” Though she’s usually wearing her long flowing shirts and billowing flower printed skirts, it’s rare you ever see her without the hand-sewn scarf and gloves.
“Always am,” her creased lips pulling up at the corners. “But sometimes you just need to feel the wind on your skin, without any extra accessories getting in the way,” she touches her face briefly and drops her hand the dog, nails lightly scratching the back of its ears. The pup turns and sniffs its owner’s hand, burrowing its nose deeper into her skin as it snorts. “Oh, it appears Grimsly smells your dog friend,” she says with another smile.
You pause, eying the beagle as its attention shifts from her hand to you. Bright cobalt eyes watch you, tiny nose sniffing towards you as it gives a small yip. “He must have a good nose.”
“Grimsly’s senses are damn impressive,” your co-worker replies. Elanor comes through the doorway with a small bag and passes it to Ms. Penelope. “And so is his memory. He can pretty much track everyone in this town.”
Ms. Penelope gently pats the dog’s head. “He’s a good boy alright. Thank you, dear, for the leaves,” the older woman says before taking the bag and shuffling out the door.
Both of you wave after her and once she leaves you reach for the broom to begin sweeping, but your co-worker beats you to it. “There’s not much we have to do. Go sit down for a bit, I can take care of this,” she tells you, motioning you to a seat at the vacant corner table near the snack rack.
You reach for the broom, but she keeps it away and you sigh. “I’m telling you Elanor, my foot is much better,” you reassure, going for the broom again.
She spins around, putting her back to you and you reach under her arm, only for her to playfully elbow you. “You’d say that even if you were in a boot,” she scoffs. “I’m honestly surprised your parents didn’t freak out more than they did.”
“Over a bruised ankle?”
“A bruise that also oddly has teeth marks,” she pointedly stares at you to which you roll your eyes.
“You mean, sharp branches that scratched me when I fell,” you snort.
She continues sweeping while you can only lean a hip against the counter, watching the broom’s bristles collect the dust, coffee grinds, and other ingredients. “On Halloween no less.” Elanor pauses for a moment and props her arm on top of the handle to look at you. “For all you know you were struck by a witch’s curse.”
That sends a chuckle through you. “Sure, okay. Actually,” you point a finger at her, “I did see a crow that night, so maybe it was cawing an incantation. That, or your maybe your tattoo came to life and tried to spook me,” you smirk, tapping her arm where the inked black bird is drawn.
“Whatever, don’t believe me then,” she scoffs.
Her words conjure up the feeling of hypocrisy as you’re reminded of the events of that night. If werewolves appeared to be real and sometimes walked you home, who’s to say other creatures couldn’t exist as well? For all you know, your wolf could be a genetically engineered beast, something that somehow escaped from a science lab. Yet, you can do nothing to explain the goblins and the dark forest that you’ve never heard anyone mention before, not even in old ghost stories.
The bell chimes once more, breaking you free from your thoughts. Elanor continues cleaning, but turns to greet them in a cheery fashion when she quirks her head with a smirk on her face. Before you can ask her what’s with the look, she whispers that she’s got to piss really quick, setting the broom against the wall before leaving you to hold down the fort.
“Welcome to Café Frappe. What would you like to drink?” You politely recite, turning to the counter only to find a guy walking towards you as he types away on his phone. “Aren’t you the guy from the library?” You can’t help but ask, recognizing the plain black hoodie engulfing the person underneath.
The guy glances up from his phone. “Oh hey, wolf girl. How’s the ‘research’ going?” His fingers flex to do an air-quote and you barely catch the smirk playing at the corner of his mouth.
“Fine, thanks for asking. I’m finding some interesting stuff actually.” You reply, casually admiring your fingernails.
His smile grows. “Oh yeah? What kind of stuff?”
“Uh—” Truth be told you had only gotten through some of the books’ introductions. While a part of you was fascinated by the wealth of information, the other part felt ridiculous, as though your mind is unable to process all that happened as reality. “The full moon doesn’t force them to shift, but. . . it can affect them in different ways,” is your lame fact recital. Needless to say, you’re far from being an expert in the subject matter.
A hint of a laugh bubbles within him as he bits his inside cheek. “How so?”
You gulp. “Well, the full moon can make them stronger.” Strong enough to kill goblins with hardly any effort apparently.
“Really?” Sliding the hood off his head, you see chocolate brown eyes gleam under the dim lights. “That’s interesting, because I think I’ve heard that before from somewhere. So then it must be true, right?”
Your eyes narrow and then roll at his humor. “I’m sure it depends on the type of werewolf or something along those lines. Anyway, what would you like?” You ask, professionalism kicking you back in motion.
“Just a black coffee.” Punching the numbers into the register, you tell him the total and he gives you some cash. Collecting the change, you try to hand it to him, but he waves it away. “Keep it.”
“Oh. Thanks,” you tell him, putting the dollars and coins into the tip jar. He nods before returning to his phone once more. You to grind the beans, the mechanical sound echoing loudly throughout the store before you pour it into the coffee maker, powder landing into the filter as you let it mix with the water. “Here or to go?” You turn towards him, showing both the ceramic chalkboard mug and paper cup in your hands.
Glancing around the small space, he scans the room, which only consists of a smattering of people scattered around various tables before answering, “Here’s fine.”
Taking the mug, you grab the chalk. “Name?”
He blinks. “I’m not going anywhere and you’re not that busy to need to call out my name,” he points out.
“Habit,” you reply, scribbling on it anyway before pouring the steaming coffee and handing it over.
He takes it, glancing at your writing on the black mug, snorting to himself. “Library guy, seriously?”
“Could say the same about wolf girl.”
He shrugs. “True.” Taking the hot cup, he walks over to the table in the nearby corner pushed next to the rack of snacks and shelf full of flavored coffee bags. Sliding the chair back with his foot, he sits down and sets his bag on the floor. You watch as he pulls out a laptop, taking a sip of coffee as it turns on.
“So what’d I miss?” Elanor asks from behind, causing you to jump at her voice.
“Nothing much. Just a customer with a simple order,” you say, going over the counter a few times with the rag even though it’s still clean.
Begrudgingly, she retrieves the broom and returns to sweeping. “Psh, of course you’re the one that gets the easy orders,” she mutters in irritation though when you look at her you can see her smiling.
A couple of hours pass as it trickles to closing time. The lamps on the sidewalk flicker on, bringing some more illumination to the café though hardly any patrons remain except for two people and your library friend. For the last two hours, he’d sat in his seat, typing away at his computer, clicking between various tabs and websites as he worked on whatever it is that he does.
Since it’s a weekend night, you typically won’t hurry customers along since most of them are students finishing a paper or getting some last minute studying in before a major exam, so you work slowly to give them extra time. As you and Elanor wipe the tables and stack the chairs, the two boys sitting across from each other close their books and collect their writing utensils. By the time you get to their table, both have finished cleaning up and returned their mugs to the counter before exiting the café.
“Okay, I have to ask. Who’s the guy over there?” Your co-worker wonders as she picks up one of the guy’s chair and flips it over.
“Huh?” She gestures behind you and you glance over your shoulder to which library guy immediately drops his head back down to his computer, a flush of pink spreading across his cheeks. “Oh, just someone I met at the library.”
“Nice.” She leans in close. “What’s his name?”
“That’s a good question because I have no idea.” You spritz the cleaning fluid on the towel and wipe it across the table.
Elanor’s eyebrows scrunch together at your answer. “Why didn’t you get his name?”
“I don’t know, maybe because I didn’t think we’d see each other again,” you whisper, sneaking a glance behind. Even though you both were talking quietly on the other side of the café, it’s not by any means large, and though his back is to you, it still feels as if he could easily hear every hushed word.
She grabs all the used napkins from the table and crumples them in her hand, resting her fist on her hip. “Well, you two have been staring at each other whenever the other isn’t looking, so I didn’t know if this was a mutual form of foreplay.”
“Elanor,” you hiss in dismay. You lean closer to her. “It’s not like that. We barely know each other.”
“Well, get to the knowing part already. At the very least get his name, so the crush train can start moving.” Under her breath you hear, “I’m sure it’ll eventually get to where it needs to be.” You reach over to pinch her arm and she lightly slaps you back. “I’ll wash the other mugs while you bring me his.”
“Just grab it when you walk by,” you tell her. She flips the last chair over and heads down the aisle on the opposite side of him, looking back at you before shrugging helplessly.
Sighing, you stick your tongue out at her and finish with the last table. When you walk towards him, your steps slow until you come to a stop beside him. Though you didn’t mean to stare, you catch a glimpse of some website, something pertaining to music if the staffs and notes were any indication, before a calendar pops up on his screen.
“Looking for more supernatural things on other people’s laptops too now?” The guy asks without turning back.
You come forward so you’re more in front of him and set the cleaning supplies on another table. “Sorry, I wasn’t trying to be nosy. Are you finished with that?” You ask, gesturing to the empty mug.
He looks at the cup before nodding and handing it to you. “Oh yeah, thanks.”
Taking the mug, you purse your lips, shifting awkwardly on your feet as you place it with the wet rag and cleaning bottle.
He glances up, regarding you as he scratches his neck. “Anything else you want to ask?”
“My name’s Y/N,” you blurt.
He blinks. “Cool,” is his dry response.
“Are you seriously not going to tell me your name?”
“Why do you want to know?” He chuckles, shutting his laptop. After putting it in his bag, his leg slides the chair across from him out and gestures for you to sit.
“Well,” you sit down with a huff, “we can’t exactly keep calling each other ‘wolf girl’ and ‘library guy’.”
“Technically, we can,” he points out with a smirk, flicking his bangs aside.
“I’m not just some wolf girl. It’s not like I spend my time running around with wolves.”
“Don’t you?” He mutters.
You still. His smirk is still there, but you can see a glimmer of gold pooling within his brown irises, the tiny flickers swirling as they slowly grow. Leaning forward, you look carefully at him and he glances away to the dark windows before you can make eye contact.
“What do you mean?”
His gaze remains fixated on the café scenery before turning slowly to you and he blinks, chocolate eyes void of any shine, seeming to not have heard you. “Hmm? Oh, I meant because of those books you’re reading.”
“Right,” you say, scrutinizing him carefully. “So what about you? Are you part of a pack of werewolves or just a typical know-it-all?” Propping your arms on the wooden table, you lean forward, wondering if it’s possible to get any information out of him. Two can play at this game, you don’t mind.
Following your movement, he casually puts an elbow on the table and rests his chin on top. “I actually prefer well-informed individual, but call me whatever you want, wolf girl.” The smirk is back, his eyes shining mischievously. “If that’s alright with you, Y/N. Besides,” he pushes against the table and stretches, sitting back against his chair,” I haven’t exactly seen many wolves around here. Have you?”
Yes. “Not really,” you answer with a shake of your head.
“That’s a shame,” he pushes against the table and goes to stand. “You’d think with this much forest there’d be more.” Bending down, he grabs his bag and hefts it over his shoulder as he slides the chair back in place.
You scramble to your feet as well. “Look, I didn’t mean to interrogate you or—”
Your surprised by his laugh, white teeth flashing as he notices your embarrassed state. “Don’t worry, wolf girl, it’s fine.” Shoving a hand in his pocket, he steps forward until you’re mere inches apart. “If I didn’t have somewhere to be and if your co-worker wasn’t impatiently waiting,” you glance over your shoulder to find Elanor exactly as he described, finger nails rapping against the counter while she looked at her phone, “then I’d love to continue this conversation. Maybe next time,” he says with a shrug.
Lending you one more smile, you watch as he walks away and heads for the door. You gather the cleaning supplies and mug, scowling at Elanor though you only manage to keep your face stoic for a few seconds.
“It’s Yoongi, by the way,” you hear and you turn to find library guy with a hand on the door.
“Good to know,” you say.
He gives you a nod while you wave in return before he’s pushing the door open and vanishing into the night.
Turning back to the counter, you find Elanor regarding you with a quirked brow.
“What? I got his name, didn’t I?”
“Yeah, eventually.”
After putting the cleaning supplies away, you take the mug to the back with her right behind you. “Hey, my flirting skills aren’t on the same level as yours,” you say, turning on the sink as you start washing the cup.
“True,” she agrees. “So what’d you think?”
“Of him?” She nods. The sponge you’re using stops as you think. “I mean, he’s definitely cryptic with his answers. We barely know each other, so we’ll just have to see.”
“Keep me posted,” she says before going to collect her things and you half-heartedly nod as you resume washing.
He may be cryptic, but at least you finally got his name. Though you’ve only spoken a few times, you had to admit you were looking forward to more conversations.

Summary: You’re the CEO’s new personal assistant. But there’s something strange about him and the company you work for.
SERIES MASTERLIST
Friday morning. The best morning of the entire workweek. Why? Because that meant the following morning, you could sleep in however long you wanted. Even if that meant sleeping the whole day away. Blindly fumbling for your phone, you blearily stared up at it above your head and actually managed to shut the alarm app off without dropping the dang thing flat on your face.
With a loud and overly dramatic groan, you flung the blankets off your body and flung your legs over the side of the bed. Finally standing on your own two feet, you took a moment to stretch and whined as some of your body cracked and snapped way more than it should have. You weren’t that old yet.
Starting your morning routine, your mind wandered to the life changing events that had taken place over the past few years. In the shower while you hummed to your favorite Korean pop group, you couldn’t help but think back to when you first discovered the company you work for now. The Seoul Wildlife Conservation organization. It was a really nice place to work for and the pay was pretty decent for just starting out. Plus you liked the cause you were working for.
Now squeaky clean, hair dried and styled, and dressed for the day, you found yourself sitting on one of your rickety bar stools at your makeshift kitchen island munching on a bagel while sipping a steaming cup of your favorite but cheap coffee. Rickety, makeshift, and cheap. That’s how you had been living for years. But now that things were happening in your life, you had greatly considered trying to find a better......more safer apartment.
This was your first full week of being the CEO’s personal assistant. To say you saw the change in your paycheck would be an understatement. However, you were smart enough to know that you had to earn your keep. If that check was going to stay as fat as it was, then you had to work to maintain it. And so far so good. Namjoon hadn’t given you any scary tasks that overwhelmed you.....yet.
Staring down at your phone, you happened to take notice of the group chat you were in with some of the younger employees of the company. Well at least the ones who work on the top floor of the building. Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook. Jimin and Taehyung had instantly taken a liking to you when you first applied and they were wonderful to you during your interview. They loosened you up and got you comfortable for when Namjoon and Jaebum would ask you questions that could normally be intimidating to anyone. But boy did those two know how to argue. Despite both having girlfriends, you would swear Jimin and Taehyung were an old married couple.
And then there was Jungkook. When you were just starting out three years ago, you had often heard stories about him. Some good and.....well.....some not so good. You didn’t know what to think about it or why you even cared. But ever since this past Monday when you literally bumped into him, you really had no idea what to think about him. He seemed nice enough but......what if some of the rumors were true?
Word in the building was, that Jungkook had slept with every female employee in the building. But from what she’d seen so far of the boy, he didn’t seem like a player at all. He had been nothing but sweet to her and even helped show her around and gave her a tour of the top floor of the building where she’d be working from now on. He was so pleasant and easy to talk to. So.....it just didn’t seem true. But what if it was? You just didn’t know what to think.
The three youngsters wanted to take you out tonight to celebrate your first full week of being Namjoon’s assistant. To celebrate your promotion and moving up in the organization. Taehyung called it something along the lines of finally joining the big kids club. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes as you started slipping your heels on and checking yourself one more time before heading out the door. Boys. Such dorks.
The drive to work was a quiet one compared to your usual mornings of blaring the music till your car thumped from the inside out. Your car. Eh. It was average. Not sparkly new but not rusty and ancient either. Sure you could probably use a new one but this one was paid off which meant one less expense hanging over your head. Especially if you were looking into finding a better apartment. The goal was to find one closer to the company building so that you could walk to work instead of using the gas to drive there.
“Hey there, gorgeous. Need help getting out?”
Oh lord. Jackson. Jackson Jackson Jackson. Ever since you started your new position, it seemed like this guy was everywhere you looked. Even now as you were opening the car door to get out, he was right there with a huge grin on his face. You really didn’t know what to think of him. Sure he seemed nice but was it genuine or all an act. Sometimes you wondered if the rumors about Jungkook were really meant for Jackson. But you didn’t have the balls to ask around.
“No thanks, Jackson. I’ve got it. But thanks for asking.”
“Sure. No problem. Say. Its a Friday and I was wondering if you’d want to hit up the town tonight. We could go out and have some street food and maybe just watch the stars at the park. You know. Cheesy stuff like that. You girls like cheesy stuff, right?”
Wow. Okay. You were really staring to believe Jackson was the real player here. However, not wanting to be rude and start making enemies within your first week, you politely smiled and shook your head while replying truthfully,
“Actually I have plans for tonight. Sorry, Jackson. But maybe some other time, yeah?”
Before the male could respond, another male’s voice started booming through the entire parking lot.
“Yo, Jackson! Get your butt in here before you’re late! I’m tired of covering for you!”
Just when Jackson looked up to fire back some kind of dumb insult, you decided to make your escape and slipped away before he could even notice you were gone. Whew. That was close. It was getting harder and harder to avoid Jackson and you didn’t know why but it unsettled you.
“There she is. Miss Korea herself.”
“Yah, Tae. Shut it.”
“Ah but it put a smile on your face, did it not? And you’re giggling. Isn’t she giggling guys? And look. Her face is getting red.”
“Aigoo aigoo. She’s so cute!”
Laughing and feeling the blush spreading from your cheeks to down your neck and the tips of your ears, you tried to playfully swat at Jimin and Taehyung both as they continued to tease you. However, you noticed out of the corner of your eye that Jungkook was kind of quiet. But the smile on his face was cute and....was he blushing too? Or perhaps he was just......nah that definitely looked like a dusting of pink on his cheeks.
“So you ready for tonight? I’ve got the location scouted out and everything. You’ll love this club. I promise!”
You smiled sheepishly as you listened to Jimin explaining the atmosphere of this club he stumbled upon the other day. When it was first brought up, you had tried to politely explain that clubs weren’t really your thing but the boys swore up and down that this club was different. That supposedly it wasn’t loud and obnoxious like most. It was supposed to be more classy but still fun. Yeah. Okay. We’ll see.
After assuring Jimin that you were excited, which you genuinely were despite also being nervous, it seemed to be enough to pacify him to where he bid you farewell and started to literally drag Taehyung away with him. It was kind of scary to think that Taehyung was in charge of everyone’s paychecks. Those two. However, you could feel someone lingering around and turned from the two goofballs to lay eyes on a sheepish and nervous looking Jungkook.
“Um......I was wondering......Would you like me to pick you up tonight?”
He quickly added in increased nervousness,
“I mean you don’t have to say yes. I thought it would just be easier on you if perhaps some of us carpooled. You know. To save on gas and stuff. I know you have to drive pretty far from where you live.”
As much as you would have loved to ask him how he knew where you lived, you quickly decided it didn’t matter right now and that you could ask him later. Right now the poor boy looked like he was going to faint if you didn’t give him an answer right away. So with a sheepish smile of your own and feeling that blush trying to come back to life, you nodded and replied in a small, timid voice,
“Yeah that works. So you have my address?”
This was where he had to scramble and cleared his throat before answering with a small stutter,
“W-Well, not exact address. I just heard you lived pretty far away from here. Just text me your address and I’ll be outside to pick you up. Feel free to text me when you’re ready. I don’t want to rush you or anything.”
Just as you were about to respond, you heard one of the other employees speak up and it was directed towards yourself and Jungkook both. Turning around, it turns out it was Jin, the Vice President of the company. Oh boy.
“Namjoon wants to see the two of you in his office once you get a minute. Nothing major. But I wouldn’t put him off either.”
“Thanks, Jin hyung. We’re on our way.”
Your heart hammered in your chest. Sure you had heard the phrase that Namjoon wanted to see you several times this week, but never before had he wanted to see you along with someone else at the same time. Trying to make a sneaky side glance, you could see where Jungkook looked perfectly cool and calm. At least on the surface. Trying to follow his example, you put on a brave face and the next thing you knew, the two of you were already there at his office door.
With a couple of knocks courtesy of Jungkook, you both heard the soft yet deep voice of the CEO telling you it was all good to come inside. Trying to ignore the faint flutter of your heart when Jungkook held the door open for you to walk in first, you felt your hands grow a bit clammy as you took one of the seats in front of Namjoon’s desk.
Why were you so nervous? This wasn’t the first time you had been in this office. In fact, over the span of the week, you had learned the CEO was quite friendly and warm. Even loving at times. He was like the father of the organization and all the employees were his children. Was that weird to think? Perhaps, but it made sense to you all the same.
“Thanks for coming you two. I’ve got a project for you.”
You watched as the beautifully tanned CEO pushed some documents to the side so that his desk was clear. However, the clearing didn’t last long as he pulled out a folder and set it down to open it and reveal the contents inside. You could feel Jungkook having sat down in the chair next to you and it was all you could do not to glance over at him. If only you could shake off this odd nervousness.
“So I have a statistics project for Kook here but it’s a pretty big project. And since he’s the only one in that department right now, I’m putting you in his capable hands. For awhile, you’ll be his assistant along with being mine. Don’t worry, I’m giving you plenty of time to work on this so that you can still help me with my tasks. This isn’t meant to be scary or overwhelm you.”
Were you that obvious? Was the nervousness written all over your face? Apparently so because Namjoon was making it a point to reassure you that everything was going to be okay. Or maybe that was just the loving father vibe he was always giving off? What caught your attention the most was when Jungkook shifted in his seat ever so slightly at the mention of being in good hands. And now that you thought about it, that made you instantly blush to where you could feel the heat radiating off your cheeks.
‘Being in Jungkook’s hands.....being in his arms......He looks really thick. I bet he works out all the time.....’
“So are you up for the challenge?”
‘His thighs are like tree trunks. I bet he’s super strong. How can such a sweet guy be so......thick?’
You heard someone call your name and a hand rested on top of your shoulder and that was enough to jerk you back to reality. Blinking and looking around, you realized it was Jungkook’s hand that was on your shoulder and Namjoon was asking if you were okay.
‘Wow.....he has big hands......his nails look better than mine.....And his fingers......’
“Jungkook, could you get us all a glass of ice water. I think it’s needed.”
Feeling the male’s hand leave your shoulder left a tingling sensation there. The poor girl. Namjoon had feared something like this would happen. Eventually all would have to be explained but for now.....it was best he waited. He watched you carefully as you slowly came back to the conversation now that Jungkook wasn’t so physically close to you. It was one thing to experience such a thing, but to watch it from the outside looking in was completely different.
After sipping on some of the ice water, you noticed how it helped cool you down. When had you gotten so warm under the collar anyhow? But it was true, you were even sweating a bit. It was probably just from the nerves and the blush earlier. Curse you for letting your mind wander like that. But the water definitely helped.
“So, are you both up for the task? I would really like to see this work out because there’s no better candidate to help Jungkook out. Everyone else is swamped with their own work at the moment and I’m in a position where I can have you helping more than just myself.”
“I’m okay with it if she is, hyung.”
“Ye-Yeah. I mean yes. Of course. I will do whatever you ask of me, sir.”
With a warm smile that you had grown familiar with, Namjoon shook his head in warm amusement before taking a sip of his own glass of ice water before replying casually,
“We’ve talked about this, you can call me Namjoon. Hell, even Joonie if you want. I may be CEO but that makes me no better than anyone else who works here. We are all equals, just with different titles. We are all working towards the same cause. To preserve the wildlife in beautiful South Korea.”
“Thank you, Namjoon ssi.”
“Eh, close enough. We’ll call it a work in progress. Now shoo you two. I’ve got lots of boring papers to sign. Pray for me that I don’t die of boredom or go brain dead. Whichever comes first.”
“Sure thing, hyung. Have fun.”
After an exchange of smiles and soft chuckles, you soon found yourself standing outside the CEO’s office and trying to take in what just happened. Looking over to your left and then your right, you noticed you were.....alone? Huh? Where did Jungkook go? It was like he just.....vanished. Blinking in severe confusion, you shook your head and decided it was time to head to your desk and get to working for the day. Wow. What a morning.
The rest of the day went pretty smoothly. Although you thought it was odd how you hadn’t seen or heard anything from Jungkook the entire time. You didn’t even see him in the building’s cafeteria. That is, till Jackson had shown up. You sat there trying to enjoy your cheaply made cafeteria food when the male yet again tried to convince you to spend time with him this evening.
“I’m sure your plans could be rescheduled. You know? Like take a rain check or something.”
As if saved by the bell, more like the food tray, you suddenly watched a very stony faced looking Jungkook sitting across from you at the table you and Jackson were sitting at with Jackson sitting beside you. You watched your coworker give the annoying male a small, curt nod while giving a monotone greeting.
“Jackson.”
“Jungcock.”
You had already been chewing nervously but when you heard that, you definitely weren’t expecting it and started genuinely choking on your food. While Jackson just looked confused, Jungkook looked worried and had started to get up but you motioned for him to stay put.
“I’m okay. Just----wrong pipe.”
Once he was absolutely sure you were okay, the doe eyed male finally looked away from you to give another stony look at the male sitting next to you. Clearing his throat, he spoke as civilly as he could as he said firmly,
“Jackson, her and I have a project that was handed to us by Namjoon himself. We really do need to get working on it. So if you could, I’d like this time to discuss things with her. Would you be so kind as to leave the table? Please.”
At first, you weren’t sure he was going to. But then Jackson surprised you and actually stood up from the table. You watched with said surprise but regretted making eye contact with the male when he said casually,
“Fine. That’s cool. But think about what I said, beautiful. I’ll see you later.”
After making sure Jackson was gone gone, you visibly relaxed and looked over to see Jungkook glaring daggers at the male’s back. You couldn’t help but notice the way he was gripping his plastic spork; his knuckles white as snow. Between the uncalled for name calling and the heavy tension, something was definitely going on between these two boys. But of course it was none of your business.
“So what should we focus on first for the project?”
“Oh that was just to get Jerk Face out of our hair. I actually wanted to talk to you about tonight.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah. Jimin hyung told us to dress casual. But you know him, he goes all out and Taehyung is such a fashionista. Those two don’t know how to dress casual. I know they said this club is more sophisticated but a club is a club in my opinion and there’s nothing sophisticated about a club.”
Watching you sit there and giggle behind your hand warmed Jungkook’s heart. If only you knew what you were doing to him. What you had been doing to him all week long ever since the two of you had bumped into each other. It was like the doors opened and the sun came out from behind the clouds. It was like waking up from a coma after centuries had passed. He had never felt so.....alive.....happy. Hell, he was even giddy at times.
“I’m glad I’m not the only one who realizes this. So what are we gonna do as far as dress code?”
“Eh. I myself am gonna keep it pretty simple. Nothing too flashy. I’m definitely not like Jimin and Taehyung hyung. I’d just dress in whatever you’re comfortable with. Oh, and go ahead and text me your address so I’ll have it.”
“Oh! That’s right. I almost completely forgot about that part.”
The rest of the day dragged on. Dare you say, you were actually looking forward and perhaps even a little bit excited about this outing with the boys. You had eventually ran into Jimin and asked if he and Tae were going to be bringing their girlfriends but he swatted at you and said casually,
“This night is about you and us celebrating your promotion. Besides, my girl is gonna stay home at her place tonight. One of her birds isn’t feeling well so she’s keeping an eye on him. You knew she took care of birds, right?”
Indeed you knew that. When you had first started here and was getting to know everyone three years ago, you had quickly heard about how amazing Jimin’s girlfriend was. She was part of a huge aviation wildlife organization where they studied birds of both domestic and wild nature. It was pretty impressive really.
Meanwhile, Taehyung explained that his girlfriend was really shy and had opted for staying in tonight. He mentioned she was working on her latest novel and you found it adorable how Tae was her one true hype man. Always bragging about what an amazing author she was. And you had to admit, the novels were good. Way better than that overrated Lord of the Rings stuff people fawned over.
Soon enough, you were standing in front of your modest closet and realized how pitiful your social life really was. All you had was mostly work clothing. That was really all you did. You worked and when you weren’t working, you were lazying around in your sweats. And you weren’t about to go clubbing in sweats. No matter how comfortable they were.
After picking just about every color of clothing under the sun and about ten different styles, you settled for something dressy casual. After applying a bit of light makeup and touching up your hair a bit, you deemed yourself ready and went ahead and texted Jungkook that it was clear to pick you up. Was it weird that your heart fluttered at the idea he was going to be picking you up? You wondered what he would be wearing.
Grinning like an idiot, you waited outside in your somewhat uncomfortable fashion heels and kept looking for someone to pull up. Your work heels were far more comfortable because they were designed that way. However, these heels you had always reserved for special occasions and so were rarely worn and therefore not broken in just yet. Your feet were starting to take notice of it.
Before you could focus too much on the pain, a car pulled up and you were shocked to realize it belonged to Jungkook. Dang. You were suddenly nervous about stepping inside. What if you got dirt all over his floor mat? You didn’t have much time to think about it as the male was climbing out with the engine still running. Smiling his bright bunny smile that you had grown to enjoy so much, he said happily but casually,
“You look great. Nice choice.”
“You don’t look so bad yourself, Jeon.”
And boy did he look fine. Black jeans that outlined his thighs perfectly with black boots to match. White t-shirt and to top it all off, a leather jacket that showcased his upper body beautifully. He was like a demi god of some kind. Absolutely gorgeous.
The next thing you knew, he was opening the passenger side door for you and you timidly climbed in. Hearing him chuckle behind you, he said just as casually as before,
“Don’t be so nervous. Jimin and Tae are constantly trashing my baby. I clean her up every time, though. You’re not causing any damage those two haven’t already created.”
Hearing the sincerity and honesty in his voice, you instantly relaxed and nodded timidly with a smile that was just as timid. In no time, the two of you were on your way to the club and you couldn’t help but notice how soothing the silence was. Spending time with Jungkook seemed to be more and more enjoyable. But you could only hope it wouldn’t hinder your progress for this project Namjoon had you two working on.
“YOU GUYS LOOK GREAT!”
You winced as Jimin approached the two of you as you walked into the club. Of course you had been carded so just as you were trying to put your ID away in your purse, the overly dressed blonde came up to you and nearly plowed into you. Yep. He was definitely on his way to being drunk already. The music was so loud that he had to shout over it just so you could hear him.
Sophisticated your butt.
At first you were pretty awkward. Again, clubbing wasn’t your thing. But after a couple of drinks, you were loosening up a bit. Jimin was definitely drunk by now but it would appear Taehyung was the designated DD tonight. Which actually surprised you since you knew how wild he was when he was sober. Later on you learned that next time it would be Jimin’s turn and Tae could get trashed. Speaking of.....
You looked over to see Jungkook sitting next to you with a bottle of beer and a tall glass of water. Hmmm......looks like he was being responsible and being the DD tonight.
Your DD.....
Eventually Jimin had dragged you out on the dance floor and before you knew it, you were giggling and dancing along with him; definitely tipsy and well on your way to being drunk. You never really drank alcohol so to say you were a lightweight would be an understatement. This was actually really fun. You could now understand why the boys liked this place. It wasn’t so bad after all.
All of a sudden, you felt someone pressing their hot body to your backside. Of course it caught you off guard but the alcohol in your system was making your reflexes slower than usual. Hands fell onto your swaying hips and they stuttered a bit to the beat and the next thing you knew; you could feel something......yeah. Wow. Whoever was behind you was definitely male because you could feel his erection against your bum.
Request: Could you do a scenario of them finding their mate MIA or their mate being sick? Or you could do a single person (your choice)

‘’I love you so much’’ Taehyung told you for maybe the tenth time that evening. You giggled, and hid your face on his neck.
‘’I love you too Tae’’ he wrapped his arms around your body and held you closer to him.
‘’Are you sure you can’t come with me on this trip?’’ he questioned again, for maybe the twentieth time.
‘’It’s a boys trip, as in just for boys. We can go on a trip later, just you and me. Okay?’’ But he wasn’t having it. He let out a few whine noises and when you moved to look up at him, he was pouting. ‘’Don’t be such a baby.’’
‘’I’ll start planning our trip the second I come back, I promise. We can go anywhere you desire’’ and before you could respond, he attacked your face with kisses, making you laugh loudly.
It was an uneventful week in the pack house, everything was super quiet. Taehyung planned on calling you every chance he could, but you begged him to stop, so he could enjoy his trip. And to pass the time, you decided to join the warriors.
Werewolf training was hard as it is, but training under the rain for hours? Your body wasn’t having it. After tripping and falling multiple times, they felt sorry for you and told you to leave.
The bruises and cuts on your legs would quickly heal, but the cold you had wasn’t going away too soon. But that was two days ago. Now you were on your bed, looking a corpse. The doctor gave you medicine but it didn’t seem to do anything to you.
‘’Babe?’’ Taehyung yelled from downstairs, making you smile. He finally came back from his little trip with the boys. ‘’Are we playing hide and seek right now? Come on baby, we can play later’’ he teased you as he opened the door.
You cleared your throat a few times before speaking, ‘’hey babe. How was your trip?’’
‘’It was awesome! We saw so many cool things and we ate delicious food. Although it doesn’t compare to yours, it was really good. I brought you a lot of gifts as well, I think I got half of the Gucci store’’ he went on and on, and all you could do was smile at him.
‘’You didn’t have to buy me anything Tae, a kiss and a hug is enough’’ he laughed at your response and finally looked at you.
‘’What happened to you? You look so bad’’ he questioned as he got closer to you.
‘’Oh wow, thank you babe. I was training under the rain and I got sick.’’
‘’Well, move over. I’ll cuddle you back to health!’’ you giggled at his excitement.
‘’No! You’ll get sick!’’ you shrieked as he got on the bed and brought you closer to his body. ‘’Taehyung!’’
‘’It’s okay, if I get sick you can nurse me back to health’’ he laughed loudly and kissed your forehead.

Summary: You’re the CEO’s new personal assistant. But there’s something strange about him and the company you work for.
SERIES MASTERLIST
Flushed cheeks, half-lidded bedroom eyes, hips swaying to the music. You looked absolutely delectable to Jungkook as he watched you from afar. You.....
His mate.
His inner wolf had been nagging at him ever since Jungkook bumped into you that very first day of your new job. It was like the stars aligned and everything made sense. That’s usually how normal humans described finding their one true love. But for Jungkook......It worked a little differently.
Like any other werewolf, Jungkook is at the mercy of the Moon Goddess. It used to be a myth that she controlled the wolves like her puppets. But the alpha of his back, which happened to be Namjoon, explained that it was just that. A myth. The Moon Goddess helps her pups and guides them down the right path. But she also decides when it is time for her pups to mate.
And that was when Jungkook bumped into you. God you were absolutely stunning that day. Well.....in his eyes, you’re stunning every day. No matter what you’re wearing. You could be wearing sweats and a t-shirt and you’d still look like a goddess yourself. Just thinking about that image caused his inner wolf to perk up.
‘Think about it. How beautiful she would look in your t-shirt and sweats; her belly round and swollen with pups. Your pups.’
“God shut up. It’s all I can do to think straight right now.”
He was enjoying the fantasy of you carrying his offspring.......till trouble showed up.
“Hands off her, Wang.”
The alcohol you had consumed earlier was definitely starting to effect you. Hearing a voice that felt like coming home, you immediately turned around and noticed Jungkook standing there looking furious. In your drunken state, you feared he might be mad at you, but you also wanted to get away from Jackson. With whimpers that were drowned out by the thumping club music, you launched yourself out of one man’s arms and into another.
To anyone else, they wouldn’t have heard you. But Jungkook did and your whimpers broke his heart. His inner wolf reared it’s head and practically begged to be let out so he could rip Jackson a new one. But this was a public place. A very public place. There was no way letting out the wolf was an option right now. So he settled for cradling you to his chest and smoothing down your hair.
“Hey, Miss Korea. Why don’t we go find Small Fry, okay?”
Moving your face just a little from where you were hiding in Kook’s firm chest, you saw a very warm looking Taehyung with that boxy grin that never failed to make you smile. Suddenly letting out girly, drunken giggles, it was as if all was well again as you replied happily,
“Okay!”
Jungkook flashed the male a grateful smile while Taehyung just gave a curt nod as he took your hand and started to dramatically and comically search for their little friend as he was now being labeled. It only made you giggle more. Dear God Jungkook wished he could join you right now. But he had business to take care of.
Jackson was surprisingly still standing there; his erection still very noticeable. All the disgusting possibilities ran through the younger’s mind and he jabbed the inside of his cheek with his tongue; a habit whenever he was thoroughly ticked and fuming.
“She’s off limits, Wang. Leave her alone.”
“Why? She yours or something? I don’t see you imprinting on her. As far as I’m concerned, she’s free real estate.”
That was when all hell broke loose.
One second Jackson was standing and the next, decked clean off his feet. A nice bruise was already starting to form on his cheek as he attempted to pick his half drunken self off the floor. Breathing heavily, Jungkook gritted and bared his teeth as he hissed out in anger,
“You should be ashamed of yourself. The Moon Goddess teaches us to love and respect females. They are beautiful beings who deserve more respect than that. They go through so much pain and yet still put on beautiful smiles that light up the world. They work just as hard as we men do; all the while bearing our pups.”
It really was a lovely speech. But all Jackson did was respond with a roll of his eyes; clearly bored and sporting deaf ears.
“Yeah yeah. Whatever. It’s not like she’s your mate or anything. I can still have her if I want.”
When Jungkook was about to throw another punch, a swift hand quickly came up to stop him and another arm wove around his waist. Looking over with pure rage, the youngest saw that it was none other than Taehyung and immediately simmered down. Gently shaking his head, the older male spoke calmly,
“He’s not worth it, Kook. Come on. I found Jimin. He’s with her now. But she’s getting antsy and asking about you.”
‘You hear that? Your mate is worried and asking for you. We can deal with dirt bag here later. Right now your mate needs you. Go.’
“Right. Let’s go.”
After the whole Jackson fiasco, it was hard for anyone to stay in a bright mood. When a very drunk Jimin found out, he threatened to go punch the male’s lights out but all that got him was another Small Fry jab in the ribs. Jungkook was relieved to see that made you giggle a little behind your hand. God you were so cute when you giggled. Especially when you were drunk. When those giggles started turning into a yawn, the youngest male spoke up casually but loud enough over the music,
“Okay, you love birds. I’m going to take her home. I think someone’s getting sleepy.”
“No I’m nnooooooottt. I’m wide awake. See!”
Kook watched as you clambered off the bar stool to which he had to catch you before you could fall and the next thing he knew, you were staring right into his eyes with wide ones of your own. The look on your face was priceless and he wished he had his phone handy but sadly it was stuck in his back pocket.
“Sure sure. Well you can be wide awake on the drive home, okay?”
“Okay! Let’s go for a ride! Choo Choo! All aboard the Kookie Train!”
“Oh my god I wish I had my phone out.”
“Got you covered, babe.”
Jungkook looked up to see Taehyung recording the whole thing. Wanting to milk this moment for all it was worth, he gently turned you around in his arms and pointed to the male holding his phone up and said as if like a father to his daughter,
“Lookie. Say hi to Taehyung.”
“Hi, Taetae!”
“Oh wait! I wanna say hi too!”
“This is gold. I’m never deleting this. I’ll put it on an external hard drive if I have to.”
Both Taehyung and Jungkook snickered as a very drunken Jimin was hugging a very drunken you. In this moment, the youngest male of the group found his heart thumping but growing soft all at the same time. This was his pack. His family. And one day soon, he’d introduce you to his world. His pack. Because the Moon Goddess wills it so.
Once Taehyung was finished recording his blackmail material, it was time to pry Jimin away from you so that everyone could get home safely and in one piece. But surprisingly enough, getting the two drunks away from each other was quite difficult.
“But she’s so cozy. I don’t wannaaaaaa.”
“You can cuddle up with your girl back home. And if she’s sleeping, I’ll throw you in the cage with the birds. You’re small enough, you’ll fit.”
“Why I oughta!!!”
With the drunken male now completely absorbed in defending his small size, you were left giggling and falling into a very strong pair of arms. Looking up with that same drunken and dreamy smile, you saw a warm and amused looking Jungkook staring down at you.
“Did you have fun tonight?”
“Yep! I drank lots and lots!”
“Yes I can tell. When we get home, we can drink lots and lots of coffee.”
“Ooouuu! Are we gonna have a slumber party at your place???”
“Slumber party at Kookie’s?!?! I wanna go too!”
“You are going home to your mama bird, Small Fry.”
Jungkook was currently trying to get certain thoughts out of his head when Taehyung came up to him and whispered in his ear,
“Let’s get them out of here before I’m tempted to drop Jimin off at the closest dog shelter instead.”
Snickering and now able to think much clearer, the youngest nodded and instead of trying to help you walk through the crowds, he simply hoisted you up into his arms and carried you out bridal style. It wasn’t till outside in the fresh crisp night air that they all realized how stuffy it had been inside the club.
After lots and lots of whining from a certain Small Fry, Taehyung was finally able to maneuver a very wiggly Jimin into the passenger seat of his car. Meanwhile, Jungkook had it much easier for you had fallen asleep within minutes of being carried and cradled in his arms. He handled you like glass as he carefully pulled the seat belt across your body and clicked it in place. Oh how he wanted to......well.....no. That would be taking advantage of you while you were extremely vulnerable. No. He would kiss you on the cheek with your consent. And that was that.
He took his Moon Goddess’s rules very seriously. Unlike someone he knew....
The drive home was uneventful. Truth be told, Jungkook had full intentions of dropping you off at your apartment building and staying with you till he was certain you were going to be okay with only a mild hangover instead of a killer one. But as he slowly pulled up to your building.......something didn’t settle well with him.
‘Is this her den? Tisk tisk. She can’t stay here. I can smell the mold from miles away. It’s not safe or healthy here. You must take her back to our den where we can protect her and keep her safe and healthy.’
Honestly, the young male didn’t need to be told twice. He didn’t have a good feeling about the place when he first picked you up. Hell, he had that same uneasy feeling when he first followed you home. Truth be told, he’d been looking for an excuse to get you out of here. So naturally he’d use this as the perfect excuse to take you home with him.
Putting the car into gear again, he started the drive to his own home. Looking over for just a second, he could see where you were still sleeping peacefully. His inner wolf was wagging his tail happily as he too took in the sight of their beautiful and precious mate.
‘The Goddess has blessed us, little one. We must not take her gift for granted.’
Being the youngest of the pack, Jungkook never dreamed that he would find his mate so soon. But here he was driving in his car with some of the most precious cargo he’d ever transport. All he wanted to do was scent you and love all over you. But his inner wolf seemed to have other ideas as images of you waddling around his apartment with a swollen belly and swollen ankles to match popped into his head. Lounging on the couch and bawling over cheesy k-dramas because the hormones were killing you.
“God. Will you stop with the pups. You’re killing me. We haven’t even set her down for the talk yet.”
‘You can’t blame me, little one. Our special week of the month is coming up and you know what that means. She’ll be ovulating and if you think this is hell......you haven’t seen anything yet.’
Groaning out loud, the young male let his head fall back against the head rest of his seat. His heat cycle. With everything going on, he had completely forgotten about that. Good lord his heats were already painful to begin with. Now that he knew about his mate......there was actually an inkling of fear crawling up his spine. What if he became feral and tried to hunt you down and force you to mate with him? What if the separation from you made him sick? He’d have to talk to Namjoon about all of this on Monday. Maybe sooner because time was running out for Jungkook.
Once parked in his designated spot in the parking garage, he got out and carefully closed the driver side door so that he wouldn’t wake you. Lightly jogging around to the other side, he opened the passenger door with just as much caution and worked on getting your seat belt undone. Just then, your head lulled over to where your nose was just lightly brushing his collarbone and the poor boy thought he might die right there. It took all his self control to get you out of the car without throwing you in the back seat and having his way with you.
After moving and wiggling you till you were finally out of the car and back into his arms, he was able to ease the passenger side door closed and locked his car before carrying you towards the entrance of the apartment building. Already he was feeling more at ease with the knowledge that you would be staying with him for the night where he could protect you. He wouldn’t put it past Jackson to try and sniff you out and take you away from your very own home. This way, Jackson wouldn’t be able to get anywhere near you.
Once inside the building, the trip in the elevator was fairly short before he was exiting and walking down the hall. Being careful not to drop you, he fished around for his keys and unlocked the door to his own little cozy den. As his inner wolf liked to call it. Walking through and easing the door closed behind him, the first thing he noticed was how beautiful the city looked all lit up with different colored lights. Sure it was probably a hazard having an entire wall made of nothing but glass but he couldn’t help it. Jungkook was a free spirit and he always wanted to be able to see the city from above. Especially at night time.
But he could admire the night scene later. Right now he needed to get you into bed and resting because you were going to have a killer hangover in the morning. Carrying you down the hallway with ease, he stepped in through his bedroom doorway and carefully set you down on the bed. Good god you looked so perfect. Drunk or not, you looked like you belonged in his bed. Because you did. It was fate. Mother Nature and the Moon Goddess willed this to happen.
However, as delicious as you looked there laying on his bed with your hair fanned out everywhere, he was going to be the gentleman and take care of you in the most innocent way possible. After slipping his own shoes off, he carefully eased your heels off your feet so as not to wake you. It was then that his inner wolf decided to be a snot nosed brat....as usual.
‘You know.....those clothes probably aren’t comfortable to sleep in either....’
“I hate you.”
‘No you don’t.’
With another groan out loud and wiping a hand down his face, Jungkook stood there trying to figure out the best way to get you out of those club clothes without, one, driving himself crazy. And, two, not to wake you and cause an extremely awkward situation. After chewing on his bottom lip till it was flaking, he finally decided it was best just to jump in. Being extremely cautious, he took your clothing off one piece at a time. And soon enough, you were left with only your bra and panties.
“Dear god, shoot me. Put me out of my misery. Please. Someone. Anyone.”
‘Oh stop being dramatic. Just slip one of your t-shirts on her and she’ll be good to go.’
“You just want to see me die, don’t you?”
There was a small pause and the young boy wasn’t sure his inner wolf was going to answer till he suddenly said,
‘Okay so I might be getting a tiny bit of satisfaction out of watching you squirm.’
Glaring out into space, Jungkook huffed through his nose like a typical wolf and walked over to his dresser drawer where he kept his extra large t-shirts. Of course any of them would work but he was being extremely picky and making sure he got one for you that was the most comfortable and least worn out. Just when he had deemed one good enough, he turned around only to see you had....well....moved.
You were now laying on your stomach with your perky bum slightly raised in the air while resting your head on one of his pillows; a small peaceful smile on your face. But no matter how hard he tried to stay focus on that beautiful and innocent smile, his eyes slid down your body to stop at your bum every time. You were nearly in the perfect mating position. Half naked with your tush on full display.
Before he could stop himself, a small but quiet howl of pain filled the room followed by what could only be described as puppy whimpering. If Jungkook’s neighbors didn’t know any better, they would have thought he had recently gotten a puppy from the shelter.
‘Oh stop being a baby and just put the shirt on her.’
With another huff and a childlike pout, the young wolf did as he was told and approached you with caution. If he thought clubbing had exhausted him, exercising all of this self control was what really wore him out. But fortunately he still had some luck on his side for he was able to get the over sized shirt on you and eased you back into the position you were in previously. Before he could be tempted any further, he walked to his closet, grabbed some pillows and a set of pajama pants and t-shirt for himself and was out of the room in a flash.
When it was finally time for you to come back around to the world of the conscious, the first thing you realized was that you’d very much like to remain unconscious. Head pounding, eyes aching, body sore and throbbing, feet feeling like they were swollen. Yeah. Definitely prefer unconscious right now. However, cracking your eyes open, you realized real quick that........this wasn’t your bedroom. This wasn’t your apartment.
So there you laid with a horrible hangover and trying to understand why you weren’t in your apartment. Your recollection of last night was fussy at best. You remembered arriving and having some drinks, obviously. Then there was......Jackson! Fear crawled up your spine as you wondered if this was his place. Had you seriously left with him? Or maybe he kidnapped you? He was awfully persistent. That was when you looked over to the bedside table as your world swayed in front of you. There laid a piece of paper along with two pain pills and a glass of water.
After slowly easing yourself up into a sitting position, you took the two pain pills and downed them with the glass of water and attempted to read what was on the piece of paper. Turns out you were in fact not at Jackson’s, thank goodness, and you were actually at Jungkook’s. That was when you finally started taking everything in. Looking down at yourself, you realized you were no longer in your own clothing aside from your undergarments. Oh lord. That meant.......oh god. Groaning, you let your head fall and the blush was overwhelmingly warm on your face.
Pulling yourself together, you also realized that said male wasn’t in the room. Was this his bedroom or a spare bedroom? Looking around, you quickly confirmed this was in fact the young man’s room. It had Jungkook written all over it. So of course that made you wonder if he had been sleeping in the bed beside you. Looking over, you could tell there was no way he had been in the same bed with you. The wheels in your head started turning and you quickly decided that you wanted to find the living room.
But first, bathroom.
After managing to find the bathroom without any help and taking care of your business, you splashed some water on your face and realized that your makeup had turned into a mess at some point through the night. With no makeup removing materials, it proved to be quite the task to get that crap off without making a complete and total mess of your coworker’s bathroom.
Looking as presentable as you could be with all things considered, you padded out of the bathroom and down the hall which you assumed would lead you out into a very bright living room. Very bright. Like ouch that freaking hurts bright. Squinting and trying to hood your eyes with your hand, you noticed standing by the window or rather a glass wall was none other than Jungkook himself.
Aside from the slight bed head, he looked just as handsome as ever. Standing there leaning against the glass and admiring the early morning sun shining over the city. He was sporting a t-shirt just like you were only he had these simple red and white checkered pajama pants on and dang did he look comfortable. Oh how you’d love to just cuddle up with him on the couch and------wait what????
Maybe you were still drunk?
“Oh! There you are. How are you feeling? Did you find the meds I left for you?”
Face turning flushed pink once more, you smiled sheepishly and nodded timidly. Tucking some of your own somewhat tamed bed head behind your ears, you cleared your throat and spoke up softly,
“I’m pretty embarrassed. Never before have I gotten that drunk. I can’t even remember some things. I didn’t puke all over you or anything, did I?”
Laughing softly while shaking his head, the young male replied while motioning for the couch,
“Ani ani. You held your liquor quite well. Way better than Jimin hyung. In fact, he’s already texted us in our group chat saying the next time we go out, it’s going to be at a dog cafe. Here. Take a seat and rest.”
Giggling as you could totally picture Jimin saying that, you gave a small and slow nod before timidly taking a seat on the couch. It was then that you were quickly reminded of your current attire. Blushing heavily, you glanced over to see Jungkook shyly staring at you too. Swapping bashful smiles, the male cleared his throat and said as casually as he could,
“Speaking of Jimin, he also mentioned something about grabbing lunch with the guys today and having you officially meet his girlfriend along with Tae’s. Would you like that? A girls day out? You know, where you girls can go out and do whatever it is you females do for fun.”
You couldn’t help but snort followed by giggles as you listened to him talk. Such a typical guy. A male who will never understand the female species. Then again. Would females ever understand males? Probably not. Smiling widely and already feeling much better than earlier, you nodded and replied with a joyous tone in your voice,
“Yeah! I’d like that. I don’t have any female friends, really.”
“Well now you do. Come on. I’ll drop you off at your place to wash and change and then we can meet up with them at the mall.”
And with that, the two of you started your day. You waited out in the living room patiently while Jungkook hopped in the shower and made himself presentable. Of course you had simply changed back into your clubbing clothes but knew that it wouldn’t last long since the drive to your apartment was pretty short. Upon seeing the male step back out into the living room, you couldn’t help but smile wider. He always looked so good no matter what he was wearing.
“Ready?”
“Ready!”
Walking out to the parking garage where his car was, you both noticed the sounds of what seemed to be fire trucks. You glanced over at him and noticed he was staring back at you too. Those trucks sounded awfully close. However, it could have been anything but it was never a good thing for a fire truck to be blaring so close to home. Climbing in, you both buckled up and were off onto the streets.
Within five minutes, your heart sunk and you felt like you were going to puke.
The fire trucks were all parked outside the front of your building as it started to collapse on itself with the help of the flames that were trying to engulf it. Fire. It was everywhere. The entire building was up in flames. Fight or flight instincts kicked in and you quickly unbuckled yourself and was flinging yourself out of the car before Jungkook could even put it to a full stop; shouting after you.
“Wait! Stop!”
Fortunately the male was part wolf and could use his speed and strength to his advantage. Within seconds, he had his arms wrapped around your waist and stopping you from going any closer to the burning building. You screamed and thrashed in his arms; exclaiming that you had belongings in there. Belongings that were important and precious to you. Once you had stopped screaming at him, he softly shushed you and held you to his chest as he whispered sweet nothings in your ear.
“I know. I know. I’m so sorry, beautiful. I’m so sorry. It’s going to be okay. We’ll fix this. It’s going to be okay.”
His inner wolf howled in pain and it rang in his ears. Dear god this was pure torture seeing you like this. It had tears stinging his own eyes as he held onto you for dear life. You had since then lost all your will to stand and so he had to hold you up as best he could. You just wouldn’t stop sobbing and honestly he couldn’t blame you. He could only imagine what precious items you must have been referring to.
Managing to get you back in his car, the two of you sat there in silence. You were silently crying and he was sitting there trying to figure out how to clean this mess up. It was killing him. So much so that it was hard to think straight. All he wanted to do was hold you in his arms and make all this go away so that you’d smile again. Swallowing hard, he suddenly remembered their previous plans and that’s what an idea struck him. Pulling out his phone, he found the contact he was looking for and pressed the phone to his ear.
“Hello?”
“Jiminnie hyung. Have you guys left yet?”
“Nope. Cutie here insists I’m not sober enough yet. I think she just wants to see me choke back black coffee.”
“Look. I’m coming over now. I’ll explain when we get there.”
“W---Okay. Sure. The door will be unlocked. Kook is everything o----”
But the male didn’t give his older brother a chance to finish as his car was already back out on the street and zooming towards their destination; Jimin’s girlfriend’s house. You took one last look at the place you had called home for the last three years before closing your eyes and bawling all the harder as you slumped further into the passenger seat.
Once arriving, Jungkook looked over to see that you had finally stopped crying but the alternative wasn’t much better. If anything, it was worse. You just sat there staring out into space; thinking only God knows what. Turning the car off, he got out and helped you out and you let him; not having the spirit in you to do it yourself.
However, once Jimin opened the door and saw you standing there, you burst into tears all over again and flung yourself at the small man; clinging to him and sobbing into his shoulder. Meanwhile said man was staring at the younger male with question marks all over his face mouthing ‘What happened?’
But instead of answering the older male out loud, Jungkook simply gave him a look that said he’d explain everything in a minute. It was then that he turned to the cute, petite female standing a few feet away in the living room and he asked softly,
“Mama Bird, could she use your shower and......perhaps borrow a fresh set of clothing?”
Nodding eagerly, the female spoke in a soft, sweet, and motherly tone as she replied,
“Of course, of course. Come on, sweet pea. Let’s get you washed up. You’ll love my shampoo I use. And we’ll pick out a really pretty outfit that will have you feeling good as new.”
With soft whimpers falling from your quivering lips, you allowed the other female to guide you deeper into her cozy home where the bathroom could be found. Lucky for you, the female was quite the literal mama bird. You would be in good hands for the moment.
Once the two females were out of sight, Jungkook sighed heavily and closed the front door behind him before leaning against it and rubbing his face tiredly. Jimin stood there shifting his weight from one foot to the other before he finally cracked under the suspense and asked once more,
“Jungkook, what happened? Did someone die?”
“No......but something tells me they might as well have.”
Just as Jimin was about to nag about the younger beating around the bush and speaking in riddles, the dark haired boy spoke up once more.
“Her apartment was on fire this morning, hyung. The whole building is completely destroyed. I have no idea if anyone was in the building but thank the Moon Goddess she wasn’t.”
When the blonde male gave him a look, he added in brief explanation,
“I took her to my place after last night. I just......my inner wolf told me to. And I can’t really say I wanted to argue. I want her home with me so bad, Jimin. Is this what it feels like for you and Taehyung?”
“Oh yeah. Trust me. That’s why I’ve been staying here at her place. Thankfully she doesn’t mind it. And honestly I could see myself moving in here if we get that far.”
Suddenly one of the colorful birds in the living room spoke up but what came out of his mouth was not what Jungkook was expecting.
“Heehee heehee you’re such an idiot, Jiminnie. But I still love you.”

SERIES MASTERLIST
“You got me a Hyundai Palisade?!!?”
“Yah. Yah. Pipe it down. You wanna wake the whole neighborhood?”
You paid Yoongi no mind as you stared at the group in awe. They all stood there with almost identical smiles. Well Taehyung’s was a bit boxier but that was just his signature way of smiling. Seeing all of them standing there, these people, they were your coworkers but in this moment they felt more like family. Brothers, sisters, cousins. For the first time in quite a long time, you felt like you had a real family who loved you and cared about you.
“Guys......I.......I don’t know what to say. This.....Everything. It’s too much. I can’t accept----”
“Finish that sentence and I’ll make you swallow that key fob.”
“Wow. We definitely need to get hyung home. He gets cranky when it’s past his bedtime.”
“Guys, I don’t have the money to make the car payments for this thing. Surly you were only able to put a down payment on it.”
You were about to ramble on but it was Namjoon who walked up to you and started gently waving his hands in front of himself before speaking softly in a warm and reassuring tone,
“Listen, listen. We knew this would be overwhelming and we probably could have done this in steps, but you see........the thing about us........that’s just not how we roll when it comes to taking care of others. We go big or go home. And after everything you’ve been through today, we weren’t about to go home. Not till we set the record straight. Not till we make things right.”
“But----”
“No buts. The car is paid for. In full. No payments. All you have to worry about is the insurance which if I understand right, you were already paying on your previous car. All of these expenses have been paid for and all we ask for in return is that you’re happy and healthy.”
“Guys----”
“To add onto that, the title is currently in my name but Monday we can work on getting the title transferred over into your name.”
You were about to try again when you watched Jungkook walk up beside you and traded you the keys for Swiper. You stared down at the orange kitten as he mewed up at you; staring with his large round eyes. It turned you soft. So soft that you could have melted. Sniffling and feeling tears lightly trickling down your face, you looked back up at everyone with Namjoon having since stepped back into his spot in the small crowd.
“We’re here for you, beautiful. I told you it’d get better soon.”
You stared up at Jungkook and sniffled with an apologetic smile. The feeling of his large warm hand rubbing your back was definitely soothing to you as you tried to find your words.
“Sorry. I just-----This was so selfless of you guys. Spending your hard earned money on me like this. Me. Why? Some of you don’t even know me very well.”
“Sometimes you don’t have to know the person to be able to help those less fortunate.”
It was quiet for a few minutes before Yoongi decided to break the ice in his own unique way.
“Well you’re welcome. It’s late. So let’s all turn in.”
“Come on, grandpa. Let’s get you home.”
While Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jaebum, and Yugyeom all escorted the grumpy male to their cars, the youngest two stayed behind with their mates. Jimin had Mama Bird’s hand in his while Taehyung had his arm slung over Widow’s shoulders. Jungkook stood there beside you with his one hand still on your back but content with rubbing his index finger of his other hand back and forth across the top of the kitten’s head; Swiper loving the display of affection.
“Guys......all of you.......Thank you so much. I can’t possibly repay you for everything you’ve done today. Gosh.....I’m just really overwhelmed. I’ll be able to formulate better sentences when this all settles in.”
“Well you did drink quite a few cocktails tonight. That’s probably not helping you.”
You laughed at Mama Bird and felt your face warming up. She had a point. The alcohol in your system probably wasn’t helping you. Smiling from the group to down at Swiper, you leaned down and kissed the top of his tiny head once Jungkook had removed his finger. And that was when you had released a rather long and very open mouthed yawn.
“Oh my. Looks like someone’s sleepy. With all that supposed alcohol, you’ll be sleeping like a baby tonight.”
Jungkook stared at you lovingly but of course you didn’t notice because you were too busy cooing over the orange kitten. However, that didn’t stop him from correcting his hyung.
“Nah. She’ll be sleeping like a princess tonight.”
“Well then let’s not keep the princess up. Shall we go, my love?”
Widow smiled just as lovingly up at her mate as she nodded and glanced over at Mama Bird and Jimin. They too nodded in silent agreement. Turning towards you and Jungkook, the small female said happily,
“Widow and I had a great time today with you, Miss Korea. We definitely need to do that again soon. Oh! That reminds me! Everything is in our cars.”
And as if they had done this like a dance routine, you watched both girls turn to their boyfriends and bat their eyelashes dramatically with almost identical pouts. It was Taehyung who spoke up first.
“For the love of all things Gucci. Put that pout away. All you have to do is ask. My heart can’t take it.”
As the group chuckled, you followed them to the girls’ cars where your purchases were. Making sure you weren’t going to run into anything or anyone, you quickly stole a glance down at the kitten in your arms. Swiper had since started to try and climb up your body as if wanting to perch himself on your shoulder but the protective side of you wanted him safely in your arms instead.
Upon arrival, Black Widow unlocked her car and opened one of the back seats. For some reason, your cheeks started to warm up. Was it because they’d see the shopping bag that clearly stated you had went and bought lingerie? Or was it perhaps the lack of shopping bags you had compared to the trunk full the other two girls had?
“Ooouuu. Kook you gotta see what’s in this bag I-----Ouch!”
You were blushing like crazy as you watched Black Widow come to your rescue by smacking her mate on the back while he was hunched over and inside the back seat; apparently looking through your bags. Oh how you wanted to sneak a glance at Jungkook but you resisted. Mostly because you weren’t sure you could handle what you might find. Was he blushing too? Or did he find it funny? Gah.
With Jimin having opened the other back door, he too was also helping carrying the bags. However, your embarrassment only intensified when you watched the two coming out from within the back seats and easily carrying what purchases you had made; not even needing the third boy’s assistance. If anyone was going to make a comment, you were grateful that they seemed to be keeping it to themselves. It was Jimin who broke the silence by saying happily and casually,
“Let’s head back to her royal majesty’s new bed chamber, shall we?”
While Jungkook never spoke up, it was painfully obvious that he was going to have to take you on an additional shopping trip. There was no way you had enough in these bags to sustain a proper wardrobe. He knew you’d go kicking and screaming, but that was definitely one of the things on tomorrow’s agenda. Thank goodness tomorrow was Sunday. At least they’d have all day, for he also wanted to go grocery shopping so that you’d have all your favorites in the apartment.
The apartment.....their apartment. Just thinking about it made him giddy with joy. His mate was finally where she belonged. Home with him. Where he could protect you and care for you. Love you. Even though you currently weren’t returning his feelings, he could tell you were feeling the tug. That powerful force of nature from the Moon Goddess herself. That little incident in Namjoon’s office hadn’t went by unnoticed. He knew you were already starting to feel the effects even though you weren’t even turned yet.
Which meant he could only hope that one day you’d fall in love with him just as much as he had fallen in love with you. Hopefully living under the same roof would make that even more probable. He felt like the odds were in his favor despite how uncomfortable you still seemed with living in the same quarters as him.
With all the bags carefully placed in the little foyer section of the apartment, it was time to say goodbyes and see you laters. You had handed Swiper over to Jungkook so you could give each girl a proper hug and a proper thanks for everything they had done. It almost brought tears to your eyes as you felt them returning your hugs with genuine love and care. You had never had female friends so this was a big moment for you.
“You be good to our girl, okay Kook?”
“Yes, m’am. Of course, m’am.”
You were a timid, blushing mess as you watched Jungkook reply to Mama Bird’s words with a cheesy salute while Swiper was held protectively in the male’s other arm. Good lord. You wanted nothing more than to run to your room and hide; never to come out again. Boy was it hot in here all of a sudden. Resisting the urge to fan your heated face, you said with a whine,
“Yah yah. It’s late. You guys should be heading home. It’s always more dangerous to drive in the dark, anyway. Shoo. Shoo shoo.”
With the small group of four giggling and cooing over how cute you were, you closed the door and locked it before turning around to lean your back against the structure. Now openly fanning your face, you watched Jungkook chuckle while holding Swiper with both arms now. He knew you were embarrassed and flustered so he decided to take pity on you and left things at that. Instead, he asked casually,
“Want me to show you to the bathroom so you can freshen up before bed?”
“That would be wonderful. Thank you.”
And so after plucking the bag that had your nightwear in it, you followed the young male down the hall and watched him point to a door closer to the end. After giving a soft thanks, you shyly ducked into the bathroom to get ready for bed. After hearing his footsteps fading, you took a deep breath and exhaled to help calm yourself down. Gathering yourself up, you moved to stand in front of the huge lit up mirror.
Wow. Those cocktails really roughed you up.
To say you looked exhausted would be an understatement. The woman staring back at you definitely looked worn out. With another deep breath to help calm you, you reached for the faucet and turned the cold water on. Giving your face a good couple splashes, you cursed when you realized that.......you had absolutely nothing on you that could help with your nightly skin routine. Softly cursing for not thinking about purchasing that stuff while you were out today, you decided to move onto brushing your teeth........which you also couldn’t do.
Tears were starting to well in your eyes. You were stupid. Stupid stupid stupid. You weren’t even thinking of stuff like toiletries when you were out shopping today. All you could think about was having fun with the girls. Your new friends. You had been so wrapped up in having friends for the first time in your life that you weren’t thinking like an adult. An adult who had just lost everything.
Sniffling and trying not to bawl your eyes out, you slipped out of the clothes that Mama Bird had given you and changed into your conservative babydoll nightie. It was dark navy blue and went about mid thigh. You were too upset to even think about approaching Jungkook in it. Jungkook......god you were going to have to tell him......But how? How could you? God this was so embarrassing. You felt so pathetic. You didn’t even have a brush for your hair or hell----You didn’t even have shampoo or body wash for that matter. You had nothing.
You had nothing.
Jungkook had just set Swiper down in his cat bed when he immediately became alert. His mate was upset. Extremely upset. Why? He needed to find out and fast. Quickly rising to his feet, he was met with a tear stained face. Your face. It broke his heart. So much so, that he couldn’t even enjoy the nightie you were wearing. He watched as you sniffled and approached him; promptly stuffing your face into his chest. Your smaller hands gripping the back of his shirt.
“Hey, hey. What’s wrong, beautiful?”
“I’m stupid. So stupid.”
“Yah. No you’re not. Come here. Let’s take a seat.”
With his help, the two of you took a seat on his fancy off white couch and you tried to collect yourself. Gah you were working his self restraint already. You weren’t wearing a bra under that nightie and it showed. Good gravy. Trying not to audibly gulp, he put his focus back on you and taking care of you. In a soft and soothing tone, he asked while stroking the back of your head in a petting fashion,
“Why do you think you’re stupid?”
“Because I didn’t buy anything important today. All I bought was a bunch of clothes and shoes.”
“That doesn’t make you stupid, beautiful.”
“Yes it does! I have no toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, shampoo, body wash. I don’t have anything for my daily skin routine. I have no makeup. Kook I have none of that stuff. Because it went up in flames like the rest of my stuff. I have nothing. It’s all gone.”
By this point, you were crying your eyes out and Jungkook had you wrapped up in his arms. Truth be told, he wasn’t thinking about those things either. Hell, he was sitting here thinking about how you needed more clothes than what you bought. But he definitely hadn’t been thinking about the hygienic stuff. Welp, it was definitely going to be another busy day tomorrow. Rubbing your back, he spoke softly,
“Well how about this.....tomorrow we’ll head back out. Just you and me. We’ll make a day out of it. We can have three nice meals out while we shop and get the things you need. And we can take your nice new car so we’ll have plenty of space for the shopping bags. We can even buy Swiper a couple cute cat toys. How does that sound?”
With a hiccup, you replied almost grumpily, “You’re too nice for your own good, Kookie. You know that?”
Flashing you that bright bunny smile that never failed to make your heart flutter and your cheeks turn pink, he chuckled and said in a tone that sounded an awful lot like he was teasing you,
“I knew you’d like the idea. So for tonight and in the morning, you can use my stuff. It’s not a big deal. I do believe I have an extra toothbrush unopened for when I’m an idiot and forget to charge my electric one.”
You flushed even more pink when you heard him mention that so casually. Gosh. Electric toothbrushes were expensive. The only thing you could gather was that he must make an awful lot more than you. Or maybe he’s obtained some kind of inheritance? Wherever he was getting the money, you had no idea. But there must be a lot of it.
Upon hearing a soft but high pitched sound, you both looked over to see that it was just the orange kitten stretching in his cat bed that was two times too big for him. Jimin had explained that the little guy would grow bigger before anyone could blink so it just made sense to buy the big bed now verses waiting. After a good stretch, the kitten went back to sleep; looking absolutely precious in your eyes. It was then that you felt a large warm hand rubbing your upper arm as Kook spoke up softly,
“I think Swiper has the right idea. Let’s get some rest for our big day tomorrow, yeah?”
“Okay. But what about all the bags at the door?”
“Eh. They can stay there. They aren’t going to go anywhere.”
“May I have a glass of water to take with me before I go to bed?”
“Beautiful, you can have anything you want, okay? You don’t even have to ask.”
You looked up to see him smiling down at you with that charming smile of his. He looked gorgeous while you looked like a train wreck. Sniffling, you nodded and he took that as the cue to help you up from the couch. His hand had slipped from your upper arm to where he could protectively wrap his arm around your waist to help keep you steady.
After pouring you a glass of water from his purifying pitcher, he handed it to you and even took it upon himself to escort you to your bedroom. Your new bedroom. Thankfully when you walked in, it no longer smelled like lingering paint fumes. Carefully setting the glass on the nightstand, you turned around to see Jungkook leaning against the door frame.
“I hope you’ll like it here, princess.”
Princess. That was new and different. You weren’t sure which made your heart flutter more. Beautiful or Princess. Smiling shyly from behind the canopy that surrounded your bed, you felt a blush coming on as you spoke in a small, shy voice,
“I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that, Kookie.”
Hearing those words made him smile with relief. So you were going to like it here? Perhaps that meant you’d stay. He couldn’t help but be hopeful of that. Oh how he wanted to gather you up and lay you in his own bed. Where he could protect you and keep you happy and healthy. But for now, he’d give you your space. He could be a patient man when he wanted to be.
“Well, then I guess this is good night. Sleep well, princess. If you need me, I’m just down the hall.”
“Thanks, Kookie. Good night.”
And with that, the two of you parted ways with him closing your door for you. Taking a couple slow sips of your water, you sighed gratefully at how cold it was. All that blushing had really warmed you up despite your thin nightie. Yeah. You probably should have worn something even more conservative but you could never sleep if you were on the warmer side during the nights.
When you went to lay down, a moan just about filled the room and then some. Wow. This mattress was freaking amazing! You had no idea who picked this particular one but if you ever found out, you were going to kiss their feet. Getting comfy, you tugged the covers up to your nose as you were one who liked to bury yourself in comfort. After everything you had been through within the last 24 hours, you definitely wanted to drown in comfort. The sheets smelled so good. Wow. They must have been washed before hand. You wonder if this was Jungkook’s fabric softener you were smelling. Had to be.
Speaking of.........
Feeling his mate’s heart rate slowing down and sensing you were on your way to dreamland, Jungkook was finally able to relax in his own bed. There was no way he was going to risk sleeping until he knew you were comfortable and resting properly. Since walking into his own room, he had changed out of his clothes for that day and was now lounging in a t-shirt and shorts. Normally he’d ditch the shirt but just in case you needed him, he wanted to be.....dunno.....decent?
“Okay, so what else will she need? Help me out here.”
‘Well......wait why are you asking a dog what a human female needs???’
“Good point.”
‘What’s on your list so far?’
Scrolling back to the top of his cell phone screen, he started listing off all the items he thought you’d need. The items you had listed earlier, more clothing, more shoes, groceries. He suddenly thought about things like medicine. Were you on any kind of medication? Oh! And were you a pads kind of girl or tampons? Just from his own heat cycle, he knew you’d be starting your period in a couple weeks. Wow. Women needed a lot of stuff.
‘Females are gorgeous, precious, but complex creatures, little one. You’ll learn that more and more as you spend time with her. Tis why we as the male need to care for our mates. They work hard and carry our offspring. The least we can do is care for them like the beautiful gems that they are.’
Jungkook could feel his chest swelling with masculine pride. Yes. He was going to take care of his mate. He was going to nurture her and care for her. Tomorrow would be a good day. He was going to treat you like the goddess you were. However, he could only hope that you’d allow him to treat you to nice things. It felt like a battle and a half just to convince you to take his credit card. Yeah.....you’ll probably put up a struggle tomorrow but he could handle it. Hopefully.
After adding a few more items per his inner wolf’s suggestions, the male finally decided it was time for him to sleep. It was hard though. His mind was just racing with everything that had happened today. Not to mention it was hard for him to sleep knowing you were just down the hall. Probably looking absolutely angelic all curled up in your new bed sleeping peacefully.
Or so he had thought.
After setting his phone on charge on his nightstand, he had just turned on his side and gotten comfortable when he felt.....something was off. Surly he would have noticed it sooner, right? No. Something wasn’t right. He could sense your discomfort. Fear. He smelled fear rolling up from under his door. It was you. You were scared. Maybe sleeping in a foreign home was making you nervous?
And then he heard your screams. Your blood curdling, hair raising screams and he was out of bed in a flash. Faster than the blink of an eye. Most of the time he was a clumsy bun, but in this moment, he was a graceful and swift canine ready to attack whatever was causing his mate pain. Barreling down the hallway, he wasted no time in opening the door to your room. The sight broke his heart.
There you were sat up in your bed patting yourself frantically. The sound of your hand practically slapping your skin sounding louder than it really was. You were crying and whimpering as you continued to pat yourself down for whatever reason. The only thing he could guess was that you must still be somewhat asleep and still in your nightmare. Carefully approaching you, Jungkook spoke softly,
“Hey....beautiful? You there? Hey. It’s me, Jungkookie. Are you awake?”
You must have been more awake than he originally thought because as soon as he started to speak, your head shot up and your eyes full of fear focused on his form slowly approaching you. It would seem that you were coming back to reality though as you suddenly started looking around the room. It was then that you slumped forward with your face in your hands; shoulders shaking from what.....he wasn’t sure of.
“Do you want to talk about it? Is there anything I can get you?”
You sat there hunched over with the nightmare still playing in your mind’s eyes. Dear god it had been awful. So much so, that there was no way you were going to risk falling back asleep. As you sat there remaining silent, Jungkook could feel the anxiety rolling off of you in thick waves. He felt helpless in this moment and it killed him. Surely there was something he could do?
“I’m sorry. I probably woke you. I’ll be fine. Sorry to bother you.”
“Hey hey hey. Let’s hold up a minute.”
While his voice was soft and almost like a whisper, he still felt the need to sit you down and get something straight. Sitting down on your bed in front of you, he turned and gently removed your shaking hands from your tear stained face. Gosh he was so tired of seeing you cry. But he also couldn’t blame you either. It just really broke his heart, though.
“You are not a bother. And you’re definitely not fine. You don’t have to talk about it, but you also don’t have to pretend like it was nothing either. What do you say we fix some warm drinks and watch a movie, hmm?”
“I......I was on fire, Kookie.......”
At first he didn’t quite know what you meant. But then it clicked with him. The way you were patting yourself all over earlier......you were patting yourself because you were trying to put out the fire. His heart clenched painfully in his chest and tears were threatening to well up in his eyes. You had a nightmare, alright.
You had a nightmare that you were burning alive.
“Okay. Ice cream it is.”
After helping you to your feet, it seemed like no time at all that the two of you were on the couch watching a Disney movie. After insisting that you pick, it was decided that you’d watch The Emperor’s New Groove as it was one of your favorites and it never failed to make you laugh. As soon as he heard that little tidbit, Jungkook was sold and immediately purchased it to rent.
Your giggles. Dear god your giggles were like music to his ears. Watching you take a spoon full of ice cream only to giggle around the spoon made his heart soar to the ceiling. You were adorable in every way. Precious. Absolutely precious. He had to fight the urges to kiss the top of your head or run his fingers through your hair. But thank the Moon Goddess you were subconsciously cuddling him. He at least got that much.
They were at the scene where Yzma was asking Kronk her famous line of “Why do we even have that lever?” when your giggles tried to turn into a yawn. There it was. The moment he had been waiting for. It would seem you paid it no mind as you went back to watching the movie, having since had your fill of ice cream. Your head was resting on his chest and he was pretty sure you had no idea what you were doing at this point. But he wasn’t about to stop you. No way.
Jungkook was pretty proud of himself. Since that first yawn, he had ever so carefully inched himself lower and lower till the two of you were practically laying down on the couch with you on top of him; using him as a literal body pillow. Not that he minded. Good lord he was in heaven right now. This definitely had to be what heaven felt like.
Needless to say, neither one of you saw the ending of the movie.

SERIES MASTERLIST
The petite female whom everyone knew as Mama Bird hummed a soft tune, almost sounding like a songbird herself, as she gently rubbed shampoo into her fellow female’s scalp.
It was more than obvious that you had no will to do anything. You were in that stage where you just wanted to.....disappear. You didn’t even want to exist. Just so you wouldn’t have to deal with this huge loss. Everything to your name was gone. Well almost everything. Thank god things like your credit and debit cards were in your purse. Your social security card and driver’s license were also on you. But that was about it. Everything else was....gone.
And so that’s how you found yourself sitting in the tub full of soothing hot water and lots of bubble bath. You faintly noticed the other female’s hands rubbing your shoulders in a massaging fashion and it would have felt amazing if you could stop seeing the image of your home going up in flames over and over again.
“I know it doesn’t feel like it right now. And I know nothing I say will make this any better, but just know that it’s going to be okay. Because we’re all here for you, sweet pea. You’re not going through this alone.”
“Thank you.......I know I sound like I don’t mean it. I just......”
“It’s okay. I totally get it. I’ve been there.”
You could hear the raw sincerity in the female’s voice. There wasn’t an ounce of bitterness or offence and it actually helped you relax a little. Perhaps it was safe to just be completely open and vulnerable. After rinsing your hair and making sure you were squeaky clean, the soapy water was drained and Mama Bird was helping you up and out of the tub.
Meanwhile, the two males were out in the living room devising up a plan. A plan that was going to take the whole Bangtan pack. The female mates included. They had already texted Taehyung and within 20 minutes, the male and his mate were barreling through the door in a flourish. The male looked around with worry all over his face when his eyes landed on the two males sitting on the couch.
“Where is she now? Is she okay? Has she been checked out?”
“Tae, baby. They mentioned in the text that she wasn’t in the fire. It’s okay. Just calm down.”
Upon feeling a soft, gentle, and warm hand on his upper arm, the male with shaggy, slightly long dark brown hair instantly relaxed and took a deep breath. He turned around and smiled apologetically down at his beautiful mate. He was the luckiest wolf out there to have such a wonderful woman like her. Her eyes were as soft and warm as her reassuring smile.
“Sorry, babe. I just----You know how I feel about our pack. Everyone included. Even if she doesn’t know she’s a part of our family yet.”
Taehyung may have been on the younger end of the pack, but he was a family man for sure. He was going to be the one who had a whole soccer team full of pups and was going to be the best uncle to all the other pups in the pack. Of course he hadn’t explained how mating worked in its entirety to his mate yet but.....well one day that conversation would have to happen. For now he got past the hardest part. And that was explaining to this beautiful woman in front of him who and what he was.
Thank the Moon Goddess she had accepted him. For Taehyung wasn’t prepared to literally die of a broken heart.
“Look who’s ready for a day at the mall.”
Everyone looked up and Taehyung turned around on his heel to see Mama Bird standing with her arm around a very somber looking you. Jungkook didn’t know how to feel as he stared you up and down. If the situation hadn’t been so depressing, he would have voiced how pretty you looked. Mama Bird had done good. Picking out a simple but cozy outfit for you. But that look of sadness on your face broke his heart.
“Oh sweetheart. I’m so sorry. The guys told me what happened. Come here.”
And be darned you started sobbing all over again as you flung yourself at Taehyung and bawled into his shoulder just as you had done with Jimin. After a couple minutes of soft cooing and shushing you, you finally let go of the male and sniffled while rubbing your eyes dry only for a tissue box to be handed to you. Taking the box gratefully, you excused yourself to go blow your nose and splash some cold water on your face now that you knew where the bathroom was.
When you returned, everyone was sitting in the living room. All eyes were on you but the only gaze you were returning was Jungkook’s. His eyes turned soft and he gently scooted over closer to Jimin so that you could take a seat next to him on his other side. Mama Bird was sitting on the floor between Jimin’s legs as said male was playing with his mate’s hair, making a mindless braid out of her soft strands.
“Before we go to the mall........I.......I want to see the building.”
You could tell some of the males in the room wanted to gently disagree but before any of them could get a word out, you quickly turned to Jungkook and took both of his hands in yours to plead with him. If only you knew your touch alone had already convinced him to give you anything you wanted.
“I need to see if there’s anything left, Kook. Anything.”
“Shhh. It’s okay. Of course we can go. We can do anything you want.”
Jimin and Taehyung shared a glance with each other. Yep. Their youngest wolf was whipped like the lovesick puppy he was. Hell, he was more whipped than whipped cream. Speaking of the other two males in the room, Taehyung cleared his throat and spoke softly and gently to you so as not to come off as insensitive.
“Before you go, we’d like to properly introduce you to the girls. Since you’ll be spending all day with them. I know you’ve already met Mama Bird but you’ve not met my lovely lady yet.”
Upon being called lovely lady, the other female in the room smiled bashfully and nervously started to fidget with her fingers. If you hadn’t been so overcome with sadness at the moment, you would have found her more endearing. You took in her appearance. She was quite beautiful. Long, black hair and a cute face. You could understand why Tae had the hots for her.
“You see, us guys have kind of started a thing where we give our girls.....like.....Indian Tribe names? There’s Jimin’s Mama Bird and as for myself. Well.......this gorgeous woman here is my Black Widow. Because of her beautiful black hair and she spins tales like a spider spins her web. Sometimes I tease her and call her Author-nim but at the end of the day, she’s my beautiful black widow. I’m forever tangled in your web, baby. Never forget that.”
“Taaaaeeeee. Ssstooooppp.”
Now who was whipped? While the pale female was now flushed pink in a blush of shyness, she stuffed her face into her mate’s chest while the male just chuckled and held her tightly. The sight actually made you smile a little; helping you forget about your troubles at least for a few minutes. It was then that Mama Bird spoke up and she said casually in her motherly soft tone,
“The boys have told us a lot about you. Taehyung here calls you Miss Korea from what I understand. I can see why. You’re very pretty. You could definitely compete for Miss Korea.”
‘I think we’d both prefer Mrs. Jeon. Doesn’t that have a nice ring to it?’
If it wasn’t for being in a room full of people, Jungkook would have told his inner wolf to stuff it. But now wasn’t the time for that. It was then that the boy realized your hands were still holding his and his knee jerk reaction was to pull away but he managed to resist and instead gave your hands a soft, gentle squeeze of reassurance.
“Th-Thank you for your kinds words. And it’s nice to meet you both. Your names are really beautiful in their own right. I can tell they’re very fitting.”
Not wanting to be rude but also wanting to survey what might be left of your home, you turned back around to fully face the male in front of you and he simply nodded in understanding. Clearing his throat, Jungkook stood up and helped you up with him before turning to the small group.
“I’m going to take her to the apartment building and see what we can find. We’ll meet you guys at the mall and go from there.”
“Sounds like a plan, Kook. Good luck, sweetheart. Call us if you guys need anything while you’re there.”
“Will do. Thanks TaeTae. And thank you for everything, Mama Bird.”
“No problem, sweet pea. You’re welcome over any time.”
Suddenly there was a squawk that shattered the moment followed by a high pitched, “Jimin you pabo! Jimin you pabo!”
“I hate that bird.”
And that’s when you and Jungkook left while listening to a cackling Taehyung as he tried to teach the parrot more phrases while Black Widow tried to scold him; telling him to be nice to his hyung. Part of you wanted to stay and enjoy the fun but there was a larger part of you that needed some kind of closure. Hell, you were still trying to wrap your head around the fact that you now had no home. How could you possibly think about going out and having fun when you were now homeless???
While you were mindlessly walking to the car and climbing in to buckle up, Jungkook was rapidly texting away in the pack’s group chat; explaining what had happened and that phase one of the plan was being set in motion. He’d keep them up to date if he succeeded. If this worked, Jungkook would be the happiest man alive. Climbing into the car, he buckled up himself and started the drive back to the burned down apartment building.
The trip was shorter than you expected it to be. Since the time you had been at Mama Bird’s house, all the fire trucks were gone and all that was left was......other tenants like yourself. Police were carefully escorting them into the building; showing them where it was safe to try and see if there was anything left for them to salvage. Sniffling, you felt a hand on your knee and you quickly turned to face Jungkook. His eyes were full of sorrow and sympathy.
“Come on. Let’s go see what we can find.”
After a police officer safely escorted you to your apartment door, he left the two of you to your own devices so that he could continue to help other tenants. There was nothing left of your door. The only way you knew it was yours because you knew the pathway to your room. Sniffling behind the breathing mask you had been provided to avoid any possible smoke or other toxic fume inhalation, you carefully stepped into the room. There wasn’t much left. Not that you expected anything less. But still.....one could hope.
Despite the breathing mask, it did little to help Jungkook’s extremely sensitive nose. Not that he was about to let you know that. Looking around, his heart broke all the more. Your home was so.....tiny. You lived here? For three years you lived in this tiny place? His inner wolf huffed and growled in mild annoyance. No mate of theirs was going to live in such horrible conditions. Which brought the young male back to his task at hand. Phase one of the mission.
Convincing you to come stay with him.
Meanwhile, you were looking almost desperately for something. The male found his head tilting slightly to the side; looking like the spitting image of a confused puppy. What could you be looking for? A family photo perhaps? Just when he was about to ask, you let out a heart wrenching sob and almost fell to the floor. Which wouldn’t have been safe since there were shards of glass and scorched metal material everywhere.
“Oh my god.....there’s actually a piece left.”
“Wait---Be careful!”
But you didn’t listen. You still reached down and picked up a charred looking object. As you picked it up, what looked like ash was falling down at your feet but upon closer look, Jungkook realized it was stuffing. In your hands was a half destroyed stuffed animal. It appeared to once be a cat. It was silent till he heard you softly sobbing; your shoulders shaking from the pure sadness racking through you.
“This was from my mother. She......She gave it to me before she left me here with my dad. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mother, but......she’s too much of a free spirit. She didn’t want to be strapped down by my father and I, I suppose. She left this as a parting gift when I was 8. I haven’t heard from her since........Jungkook this was all I have left of my mother.”
And then it brought on a whole new kind of pain as you suddenly sobbed even harder and threw yourself at him. Audibly crying, you asked him in devastation,
“Why didn’t she want me, Kookie? What was so bad about dad and I?”
At first, the young wolf had no idea what to say. Perhaps it was due to his canine instincts, but how could a parent ever leave their child? It blew his mind. A parent never abandoned their pup. Never. Holding onto you tightly, he gently rocked the both of you back and forth as he shushed you gently.
“You’re a good daughter, beautiful. There’s absolutely nothing bad about you. It’s your mother’s loss. Not yours. Never forget that.”
After a few more minutes of crying your heart out, you finally pulled away from him and pulled yourself together. Sniffling, you stared down at what was left of the stuffed animal and said softly,
“Is it stupid that I want to keep it?”
Gently shaking his head and causing his soft, dark locks to flop back and forth, the male spoke up gently as he replied soothingly,
“No. It’s not stupid at all. Let’s see if we can get an evidence bag from the police officer so you can safely take it with you.”
“Take it with me......”
You let out a bitter laugh before adding, “Where am I going to go? I suppose I’ll find a motel somewhere close to the office building.”
‘A motel? A motel?! Over my dead fluffy body! No mate of ours is going to be staying in a motel!! Of all places!’
It was all Jungkook could do not to tell his inner wolf to pipe it down out loud. Okay. This was it. This was his chance to bring you, his mate, home with him. Nervously shifting his weight from one foot to the other, his heart pounding in his ears, he cleared his throat and asked through the breathing mask,
“Why don’t you just stay at my place?”
He quickly added, “There’s plenty of room and we can drive to work together. This way you can save money on gas to help save up money for a new place. It can just be till you get back on your feet. It wouldn’t be anything permanent.”
As much as he’d love for it to be.
You stood there feeling.....Well......You weren’t sure how to feel right now. Everything was happening so fast. Your home had been burnt to a crisp, you’ve bathed and dressed in a stranger’s house, you’ve been introduced to strangers who you were about to spend the whole day with, and now your coworker was practically begging you to stay with him.
“J-J-Jungkook. I don’t know. I don’t want to impose----”
“You won’t be. I promise. I swear.”
There was something unique about staring into someone’s eyes when that was all you could see and right now Jungkook’s eyes were pleading with your own which were filled with uncertainty. Would this even work? Could coworkers living together actually work? Was it practical? Or should you just throw caution to the wind and go for it? After several tense seconds, you sighed and let your shoulders slump as you said in mild defeat,
“Okay. I’ll stay with you. But it’s only temporary.”
You barely got the words out before you were being swept off your feet. Overcome with joy, Jungkook had wrapped you up in his arms and started to gently swing you around while letting out one of those cute higher pitched laughs that he did whenever he was excited about something. The question was......why did you know this? Finally setting you down on your own two feet, you looked up and could see his huge bunny smile despite only being able to see his crinkled eyes.
“I promise it’s going to be fine. You’ll be able to live comfortably while searching for a new home. I promise.”
You really didn’t even know where to begin on thanking him. Perhaps for him it was no big deal but for you it sure was. Taking someone in was a huge deal. Sure they were coworkers but still. You were still getting to know each other. Especially since you two would be working on that project together. This would be a change for sure.
“Thank you, Jungkook. I really can’t thank you enough. Look, I can help around the place. I can do the grocery shopping and----”
“Yah yah. Don’t worry about that stuff right now. I’m just glad you agreed. I’m happy to have you over. It’ll work out perfectly.”
You stared up at him, still a bit dazed from how fast everything was happening. You lost a home and gained one all in a matter of hours and it still felt as if you hadn’t even fully comprehended that you lost everything to your name. Which reminded you, there was still the rest of the apartment to search. Turning back to the male, you asked timidly,
“Could you hold him while I keep looking?”
“Of course. I’d be honored to. What’s his name?”
You were probably just overthinking things but.....It touched your heart and made tears sting your eyes when he referred to your stuffed animal as a still present being rather than a past tense being.
“His name is Garfield. Because he’s orange.”
But sadly, you’d never be able to tell that now. The poor thing was completely covered in soot and ashes. Even though you couldn’t see it, Jungkook had nodded in understanding as he stared down at the object. It was then that an idea popped into his head. Which also triggered a reminder to let the pack know phase one of the mission had went successfully.
Being extremely careful, the young wolf took out his phone and was tapping away his update and his idea while still carefully cradling what was left of your precious gift from your mother. Your mother.....You had mentioned you love her. It was hard for Jungkook to wrap his head around that. Your mother had abandoned you and yet you still found it in your heart to love her. It blew his mind how full of love you must be in general.
Hopefully with time, you’d find a spot in your heart to love him too. Because he sure as hell loved you. With every fiber of his being.
“Well......I guess there’s really nothing left......God so much money was in this place.....”
“Do you have renter’s insurance?”
He immediately regretted asking for he could tell from your posture and the way you looked down at the floor......that you didn’t have much of any insurance aside from what the company provided it’s employees.
“No.....I......I had planned on getting it with this promotion and the raise but......I guess I ran out of time.”
“Hey hey. It’s okay. We’re going to help you rebuild. You’re not in this alone, beautiful.”
Beautiful......he had been calling you that the entire day. Had he always called you that? Looking up at him with curiosity and confusion swirling in your eyes, you asked softly,
“Why do you keep calling me that? Do you really think I’m beautiful?”
Oh sh---- He hadn’t even been thinking about that, really. It just came so naturally to him to call you beautiful. It was kind of his pet name for you, he supposed. Smiling awkwardly behind his breathing mask, he ended up nervously scratching behind his head as he tried to come up with an explanation that wouldn’t send you off running.
“Well of course I think you’re beautiful. You’re not the Miss Korea of our group for nothing.”
There we go. That was slick, right? Pretty smooth? Hopefully???
It seemed to be enough to satisfy your curiosity for you simply nodded but he was certain you were blushing behind your mask as you shyly looked away. Dear god you were adorable. He just wanted to wrap you up in his arms and cuddle you all day long. But there was a mission to be completed. Now that you had accepted his offer, there was a lot of work to be done within this day’s time.
“Let’s get that evidence bag and head over to the mall to meet the others.”
After he softly told you to watch your step, his inner wolf practically screeched at him to just take your hand and help guide you through the rubble. It felt so natural to hold your hand. Even if you didn’t return his strong feelings right now, being in love with you was still one of the best feelings in the world.
Once the both of you were back outside, you were in luck as they had plenty of bags for safe transport of any salvaging the tenants might have found. Carefully putting what was left of your precious Garfield into the bag, you carefully zipped it up and finally took your breathing mask off. Thanking the police officer for everything he had done, the both of you were now heading back to Jungkook’s car and that was when you realized-----
“My car!? Where’s my car?!”
You always parked out in the front of the building because that was really all the parking the building could own. You hadn’t thought about it before but now that everything was settling in your mind, you realized your car was nowhere to be found.
Great. This day just kept getting better and better. First your home goes up in flames and now you were going to have to file a stolen vehicle report. Before you could freak out any further, you felt a pair of warm hands starting to gently rub at your shoulders. That was the second person today to try and give you a shoulder massage. Jungkook didn’t even have to tell you to relax as you figured it out on your own. Taking deep breaths, the two of you just stood there next to his car as he continued to rub his hands expertly over your shoulders.
“Thanks, Kookie.......I don’t think I’d be able to make it through this day without you. Actually I know I wouldn’t have.”
Indescribable. That’s what this moment, this feeling, was like for him. You just told him everything he wanted to hear. Well......one of the things he wanted to hear. His inner wolf was yipping and howling with happiness and dear lord it was like being on cloud nine. This had to be what Heaven felt like. He was sporting the brightest bunny smile ever and was grateful that you couldn’t see him to question him about it.
However, Jungkook needed to remain, strong, cool, and calm for you. So wiping the huge smile off his face and trying to keep that same soothing voice as before, he made a small clear of his throat before replying softly,
“I’m always going to be here for you. You’ll always have me in your corner. And that goes for the rest of us. Tae, Jimin, the girls. We’re all here for you. Since the police are here, why don’t we go file that report now? That way we can skip the station and just go straight to the mall.”
“That’s a smart idea. Let’s go.”
After approaching the policeman from earlier, he was kind and professional as he both offered his sympathy and explained that they actually have some paperwork for such things here on site in their vehicles. So there you stood with a clipboard, pen, and the paperwork necessary to report your stolen vehicle. This was crazy. Who would want your vehicle? It made no sense.
Once you had filled out the paperwork and handed it back to the officer for processing, it was now time to head to the mall. Jungkook would occasionally glance over at you in the passenger seat and every time you’d be staring down at what was left of your poor stuffed animal. He could only hope his plans would help heal your sadness over the loss. God you lost so much though. He couldn’t even fathom the sadness and emptiness you must be feeling. You must be terrified.
That was why, when they had finally found a spot to park and were climbing out of the car, he walked over to your side and gave you a hug. It probably could have been classified as a bear hug, honestly. It took you by surprise but you returned his gesture nonetheless. It was almost like it was his turn for everything to finally sink in. Even though he wasn’t the one that just lost everything. But for a wolf, his mate’s pain was his pain.
“I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with all of this. I can’t begin to imagine what you’re feeling right now. I’m so so sorry, beautiful.”
It felt natural to hug him back. Honestly, you could just stand there hugging each other all day and you’d be happy as a clam. Was that weird? You had only known Jungkook for about a week or so. But some people just click. So perhaps you and him simply click and there’s that great chemistry between you. Maybe that’s why Namjoon picked you to be the younger’s assistant instead of anyone else.
“Thank you, Kookie. It means a lot. Like I said, I wouldn’t be getting through this day without you. Everyone’s been wonderful but you’re really here for me. But let’s get going before Taehyung and Jimin send out a search party for us, huh?”
You smiled up at him as you reluctantly pulled away. He too was smiling as he nodded and took your hand once more. It was nice to know that you weren’t pulling away from the movement because it was becoming more and more natural to take your hand in his. He could tell you weren’t sure what to do with your fingers so he took the risk and laced them with his own. He half expected you to tug away but if anything, you gave his hand a gentle squeeze. God his heart was soaring.
After confusing texts in the group chat, the two of you managed to find everyone in the food court. Food......Did you really even have much of an appetite after the morning you’ve had? No. That was a big fat no. However, you knew that if you were going to survive this day, you were going to have to eat something. Taking a deep breath, you sat down at the table with everyone and reluctantly let go of Jungkook’s hand.
“How did it go, sweetheart?”
Your initial reaction was to be sour and bitter about it. It went horribly at best. But Taehyung was just asking and you would never actually respond to him that way. Just as Jungkook was about to help and answer for you, you found the strength to open your mouth and replied weakly in a small voice,
“It......There was nothing left. And.....on top of everything else, I had to file a stolen vehicle report.”
You could feel the pity. Even though you knew their hearts were in the right place. This day just honestly sucked. Massively. And the worst part is, you had no where to go where you could just soak in a tub with a nice bath bomb. Because you had no home. You were homeless and now without any way of transportation.
“Oh sweet pea that’s awful! I’m so sorry.”
“Thanks, Mama Bird. I’m just glad the vehicle is paid for. It wasn’t anything special but I kind of need a car to get places.”
“Sure sure. That makes total sense. Gosh. Well don’t worry. We’re going to show you a good time today and it’ll make you forget all about the icky stuff. Right, Widow?”
You glanced over across the table to see Black Widow was leaning against Taehyung with her head resting on his shoulder. You got the feeling crowded places like a mall weren’t really her thing and honestly, you yourself weren’t really feeling up for big crowds either. At least not today. However, the woman with the silky black hair nodded her head and spoke up softly,
“Yeah. We’ll have a good time.”
The table took this moment to break up and scout out what was in the food court. Honestly it had been ages since you last went to the mall. Being an adult didn’t really allow you much fun time like that. You couldn’t help but notice Jungkook was following you like a puppy. Not that you minded but you feared he was sticking close to you out of pity.
After everyone regrouped and sat down with some food, the mood was quickly lightening up. Especially when Taehyung picked up one of his fries from the basket he was sharing with his mate and said,
“Look! It’s Jimin!”
That got the poor boy a jab in the arm and a smack to the back of his head all at the same time for he was sitting between his mate and the blonde up for discussion. While Black Widow was lightly scolding the shaggy haired male and Mama Bird was trying to sooth her man’s ego, you sat there nibbling on some crackers that was supposed to go with your bowl of soup but you hardly touched it. Of course Jungkook took notice but he didn’t press or say anything. He probably wouldn’t want to eat either if he was in your shoes.
Once everyone had ate, to which you surprisingly ate at least half your bowl of soup, it was time to part ways. The guys were going to head out and do ‘guy stuff’ while the girls were going to stick around the mall to do ‘girl stuff’.
However......while the day’s plans looked the same, the actual plans had changed dramatically. Even as they all stood there in the middle of the mall, people were already out and about on their own little missions. Jungkook couldn’t wait for this evening. His mate was in so much pain right now, but hopefully once the sun went down, all that pain would go away. Or if anything, would at least ease up.
“Okay, babes. Here’s our cards. And remember, no one buys any clothing without my Fashionista Notary Stamp of approval. Lingerie included. Got it?”
You were dumbfounded as you watched all three boys casually whip out pieces of plastic like it was no big deal. Taehyung handed his mate his card as did Jimin handing Mama Bird his card. And then there you stood staring down at Jungkook’s credit card like he was handing you a beheaded fish or something. Looking back up at him as he was still holding the card out to you, you shook your head and said with a stutter,
“Kook--- N-No. I can’t accept this. Please. I can----”
Just as the youngest was about to gently argue, Taehyung slid between the two of you and gently took your hand and guided you over to a nearby corner where there was a small lounge. Gently setting you down, you were about to argue when the male beat you to it.
“Babe. I’m not going to pretend that I understand what you’re going through right now. But I can promise you, Kook isn’t doing this out of pity or anything like that. Hell, none of us guys are. It’s just something we do whenever we all go out together. Try not to take his gesture the wrong way.”
You stared up at him with all kinds of mixed feelings swirling in your eyes and your heart. Sneaking a glance over at the small group, you could see Jimin trying to keep the mood light but you could see how tense Jungkook’s shoulders were for he had his back to you.
“But.....you and Jimin have girlfriends. It kind of makes sense that you guys would do that for your girls. But Jungkook and I----”
“He’s doing this as your friend. And......I’ll let you in on a little secret.”
Taehyung dramatically leaned in and whispered above all the noise from the mall,
“He’s always wanted to be part of the Sugar Daddy Club. Poor kid.”
If lightening your mood was what he was aiming for, it unknowingly worked as you leaned back from him and rolled your eyes so hard it almost gave you a headache. With a light and playful shove, the male just laughed and gently helped you up from the lounge and escorted you back to the group.
“She’s all yours, Kook.”
And there the two of you stood, as if you two were the only people in the mall. Was that a blush creeping up your neck trying to burn your cheeks and ears? Yes. Yes it was. And you couldn’t help but notice Jungkook too was lightly blushing. With a sheepish smile, he held out his card once more and this time you took it.
“Buy anything you want. It’s yours.”
“It still has to have my notary stamp of approval!”
After stating his conditions, Taehyung turned back to his beloved mate and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips before playfully tapping her nose and speaking softly in a loving tone he reserved only for her.
“Remember your task for the day?”
“Yes. Unfortunately. Manicure and pedicure. Tae what if I chicken out in front of the girls? Please. Can’t we pick something else?”
“Babe. Look at me.”
Black Widow stared up at her mate with eyes full of anxiety as he gently gripped her shoulders. And just like that, one look into his warm eyes and she instantly felt better. He was the only one who could calm her down whenever her anxiety got the best of her.
“You can do this. They’re there to pamper you. They keep all their stations and equipment sanitized and their job is literally to be good to you. You’ll be just fine. And if you succeed, I’ll give you a big reward. A really big one.”
“You’re so gross. Ew. Get away from me.”
The two of them ended up laughing as the female tried to act disgusted with her mate. But Taehyung just clung on and started being overly affectionate as he smothered the entire side of his mate’s face with kisses. However, settling down before he got thrown out for public indecency, he pulled his girl close once more and whispered,
“Pick out a pair of lingerie for me, okay?”
“Fine. If it’ll get you out of here. You guys have a lot to do today.”
“Tell me about it. Namjoon and Jin hyung are already at the dealership lot scouting out the best fit. Yoongi and Hoseok hyung are at the furniture store. Small Fry and I are going to head to the cafe and see what we can find. Pray for me. You know I don’t get along well with cats.”
“If I have to suffer through some old man touching my hands and feet, then you can suffer with a bunch of cats.”
“This is why you’re my mate.”
While Taehyung and Black Widow were being overly mushy and gooey, Jimin and Mama Bird had their heads together talking softly as if they were saying goodbye for the last time. It actually made you feel.......jealous? Was that the feeling gripping and trying to suffocate you? Was that what it was like to have someone special? You have never had a boyfriend before, but you’ve had a couple one night stands. Nothing romantic.
“Try to have fun today, okay?”
You looked up to see a mildly worried looking Jungkook trying to smile down at you. Attempting to smile back, you nodded and spoke softly above all the noise around you,
“I’ll try. Thank you again for everything, Kookie. I know I keep saying it but....”
“Hey, it’s okay. I want to do this. Honestly I wish I could do more.”
“Okay, guys. Let’s leave the girls to their own devices. We got lots of guy stuff to do.”

SERIES MASTERLIST
ONE CENTURY AGO...
Sounds of leaves cracking and breaking under the pressure of feet filled the forest. The sun had long sunk and the moon was out in full bloom; covering the forest and watching over it’s inhabitants like a beacon of safety. Animals small and large roamed the fall themed wonderland; the trees all long having since changed a beautiful array of reds, oranges, and browns. In fact, the harvest moon would be soon approaching.
Upon a clearing in the trees, two small groups of men approached each other; their expressions free of emotions that merely simmered below the surface. Each group contained seven men. It was tradition and had been this way for years.
Suddenly, it was one of the men leading their respective group that finally cracked a smile. A genuine smile that was warm and made his eyes crinkle. This caused the male facing him to wear the same smile. It was like watching brothers reunite after much time apart.
“May this be the first night of a beautiful friendship.”
“Indeed. May our packs always be friends and allies.”
After sharing a firm handshake, the two men who were clearly leaders of their respective packs then motioned for the rest of the group to do the same. And with that, history was made. Steps taken towards a brighter and healthier future.

Werewolves.
They’ve been around far longer than their myths and legends claim. In fact, a lot of the myths and legends people today read about are mostly false. For just as humans have grown and evolved, so have the werewolves. Granted, they stick to most of their traditions, but even traditions change, dear friend.
ONE CENTURY LATER...
“So how does it feel to be the CEO’s assistant? No pressure, right?”
You looked extremely pale as you audibly gulped and subconsciously tugged on the collar of your dress shirt. Today was your first day as the CEO’s personal assistant and to say you were a nervous wreck would be the understatement of the century.
“Stuff it, Taehyung. You’re not helping.”
“Oh yeah? Well no one asked for your opinion, Small Fry.”
“Small Fry?! Why I oughta-----”
You sighed softly in mild annoyance while Jimin and Taehyung bickered between each other. Honestly if it wasn’t for the two of them already having girlfriends, you’d totally officiate their wedding as husband and husband. Although Taehyung would probably insist Jimin be the wife and take on the Kim family name.
After working for the Seoul Wildlife Conservation agency for six years, the CEO who’s name was Namjoon had finally decided it was time to pick out a personal assistant since Jin, his vice president, was way too busy to be of any real help. And for some reason, Namjoon picked you of all people.
You could only hope this latest chapter in your life was a good one.
As you walked down the hall towards your new working quarters, you couldn’t help but notice everyone staring. Out of the corner of your eye, you spotted a couple of guys that you were pretty sure went by the names of Jackson and Mark. You couldn’t help but blush as the guy named Jackson winked at you.
And that was when you suddenly bumped right into someone.
“Oh gosh. I’m so sorry. I wasn’t watching where I was going. Did I hurt y----”
“Aigoo aigoo. Relax. It’s just me.”
Looking up, you stared right into the sparkling eyes of one of the most beautiful men you had ever saw.
“Wait.....do I know you?”
“Probably not. You’re the girl who moved up from the first floor, right? I’ve heard a lot about you from Namjoonie hyung. You’re his personal assistant now, right? I’m Jungkook, by the way.”
