Working on the selfship journaling game; trying to come up with prompts (the idea is you roll on a d20 and then write something based on the prompt).
Not sure I'll go with these in the end -- part of me wants a more fantastical approach, but I want to make this accessible to anyone who struggles with the blending of fiction and reality due to mental health. Also attempting to figure it how to gamify this all more.
Anyway, here's what I got right now (Xs are just a placeholder for actual words):
1. You are overcome with longing for your F/O. What do you want for?
3. For whatever reason, you are reminded that you love someone you cannot touch, cannot ever have physically. What prompted this painful remembrance, and how do you handle it-- does your F/O help in this moment or does that ache too much?
5. Through your F/O, you're learning and asserting to yourself that you are lovable, inherently so. How have they made you realize you deserve love, from them and from yourself?
7. You come up with a new idea for a headcanon for your selfship. Is it sweet? Sad? Angsty? How does it deepen your connection to your F/O?
11. In your dreams, your F/O is there. What are you doing? What are they doing? Do you speak with them? Do anything together?
15. Your F/O motivates you to make something-- art, writing, anything creative. What do you make, and what does it mean to you to have?
17. Something challenging is ahead of you. But your F/O inspires you to try. How do they help you?
18. You're doing something, be it at home or out and about, and pretend your F/O is there. What do you talk about? Do they help with whatever you're doing?
20. You come across an imagine that inspires you. What is the scenario?
