Connecting through Tattoos

Last Thursday I had the first tattoo session of this beauty. This tattoo is something that I have wanted for a very long time, and I am so excited to finally have the beginning of the design on my skin.

Ever since I was young I have had a deep love for the wolf. It was the topic of many show and tells and assignments, and when we visited the zoo my parents knew to just let me stay at the wolf sanctuary for a while. When I discovered witchcraft the wolf became a guide and a huge source of comfort. By now I have created such a deep bond with the Spirit of Wolf that I may call him brother.

So the idea to have a wolf tattoo is not a new one. And this became even more pronounced in 2019, when the wickercreature on Castlefest was a wolf. The hints of leaves in the design were the last piece I was missing for my own tattoo design.

And now it was finally time. I found a wonderful artist in Jona of Hooksink and we worked together on finalizing the design.

And a funny thing happened. I would reach out to wolf for strength and comfort, and he would “appear” outside of my body. Laying his head on my leg, pressing against my back, or laying on my feet. Yesterday I had to do something that I found really difficult, so I reached out to wolf. And now, it felt like he was more within me, looking through my eyes. A vastly different experience than before the tattoo.

Wolf Magick?

Hello all!

I’m still in the (very) beginning stages of Wicca and I came across something called Wolf Magick here on Tumblr. I looked it up a bit and came across the four wolves, Brown, Gray, Black, and White.

Wolves have always been my favorite animal, I even have a tattoo of two wolves (for my parents) and I plan on getting a third for me.

If anyone has more information on this, I would love to speak with you!

Wolf Magick: Casting A Circle With Wolf Energy

Once you understand wolf energy, and the four wolves that wolf energy can be split into you will then be able to call upon these wolves in order to protect you, and to enhancer working through the construction of a circle. This circle can be constructed like most magickal circles, and will primarily differ in the use of wolf energy, and the calling upon of the four wolves. These circles will be useful if you have a higher connection with wolves, and want to call upon their energy in order to empower your working. I am now going to include a simple way that you can make a circle with wolf energy along with links to the two other post that will help you get acquainted with the other aspects of wolf magick.

Wolf Magick: Four Wolves

Casting a circle with wolf energy:

1) First you need to find a place where you want to cast the circle. This can be anywhere that you wanted to be as long as there is enough space for you to reside in the middle of it with whatever else you will need for your working.

2) Next we are going to begin crafting our circle for the step you can create a physical representation of the circle around you using some form of objects, or by physically drawing a circle. This is not necessary, but will allow you to physically visualizer circle, and will allow it to be grounded in the physical world. In order to craft your circle point at the border of your circle with your pointer, and middle finger or your athame, and visualize energy shooting out of your hands, and going forth to form the circle as you follow the perimeter. While you are following the perimeter with your energy pronounce your intention out loud preferably multiple times. You should say something like "I cast this circle with the energy of the wolf. May they come forth, and protect me, and enhance my practice as I remain inside". Do this until you complete the entire circle with the energy of the wolf, then move on to the next step.

3) Now that the circle is complete turn to the east, and call upon the energy of the gray wolf. Say something like "I call upon the energy of the gray wolf, and call you to my circle to guard, and enhance the energy of the east.".

4) Now, turn to the north, and call upon the energy of the red wolf. Say something like "I call upon the energy of the red wolf, and call you to my circle to guard, and enhance the energy of the north".

5) Now, turn to the west, and call upon the energy of the white wolf. Say something like "I call upon the energy of the white wolf, and call you to my circle to guard, and enhance the energy of the west".

6) Finally, turn to the south, and call upon the energy of the black wolf. Say something like "I call upon the energy of the black wolf, and call you to my circle to guard, and enhance the energy of the south".

7) Know that your circle is complete, and that you can sit inside it for as long as you would like, being protected by the 4 wolves. This will be a wonderful place for you that will exist between worlds, and will allow you to do your spell work strongly, and safely. Once you are done, you can move on to undoing the circle.

How to undo a circle with wolf energy:

1) First start off by thanking the wolves for assisting you with your practice, and then ask them to help send your intention into the universe.

2) Next, in order to undo your circle point at the border of your circle with your pointer, and middle finger or your athame, and visualize the energy being diffused, and scattering returning the space back to the energies that were there naturally as you followed the perimeter of the circle.

3) Finally pick up your physical representations, and any other things that you brought into your circle in order to help you. After that you can go on your way knowing that you have completely undone your circle, and can go on your way.

Intro

Hello, I'm Wolf. I'm a non-theistic satanist, and I incorporate the spirit of the wild wolf into my craft.

I've dedicated myself to wolves physically and spiritually, I'm going to college soon for conservation biology to help them and I worship and honor them in my actions and rituals.

I love wolves and have been drawn to them since I knew what they were. I associate wolves heavily with the earth and water elements, the planets neptune and pluto, and the months of February and March. To me their colors are red and grey.

The largest parts of my craft are divination, candlework, shadowwork, sigils and manifestation, and altarwork.

I plan to use this blog mostly as a personal way to document and store information on my craft, including rituals, spells, altar details, and other such things. I will likely not reply to people much on this blog as it is a personal documentation blog.
