hi so you know coils mentor. the white wolf he has following around him in a lot of art drawn by soda.

ive come here to yap about them and because coils mentor has the gear snow wolf im just gonna call her that.. 🥹🥹🥹

i like to think snow wolf originally came from blackrock, just as a footsoldier, but grew to hate the faction so much that she left and never returned (we have a lot of blackrock defects here 🥹)

so snow wolf goes to crossroads and starts to hang out a lot in playground which is actually how she meets coil

theyve got a mother-son relationship but snow wolf isn’t a conventional mother by any means. in the most recent art of her that soda posted, snow wolf calls coil a “disgraceful spawn” and a “tainted child”. i don’t really know what this implies for coil, but i think maybe he was born too weak or too fragile. my larger headcanon for the inpherno is that when inphernals spawn in, they can be very easily disposed of if they aren’t strong enough or of the best health because they have no family to care for them

but in the same art, coil asks if he’s broken, and snow wolf says yes. he apologizes, but snow wolf says that he doesn’t need to apologize and that she would like nothing more than to see a “spark grow into flame from a pile of ashes” (this isn’t the exact quote but it’s close enough)

so all of that to say is that snow wolf saw potential in coil. she saw it and she raised him to be the strongest he could be

coils hate for blackrock actually stems from snow wolf, because she hated the faction too

coils first stolen crystal was when snow wolf took him to blackrock for the first time

coil is ONLY vulnerable around his mom and he is 100% a mamas boy. he doesn’t let ANYONE see this - in fact, nobody even knows he has a mom to begin with. he’s so worried of losing her that he refuses to let anybody know she exists

coil got a lot of his dog features and mannerisms from spending so much time with snow wolf

I can finally brain dump my everything about my favorite gay onto people. Fuck yes. TW/CWs for mentioned abuse and gang/drug talk??? i think???

So i have this silly little gay, right? yeah! I love this gay very much, and they are probably my favorite out of all my phigthing sillies. This specific silly has infected my brain so much that even my first silly is getting a lil overshadowed sometimes (rip Timebomb, the only one with a written backstory yet the least used)

So! Disco! Art attack!

Boom, my gay. In case you couldn't tell she's just a little bit 90s themed. I wanted bright colors and a really busy design so i went with what came to mind first: 90s. Also i literally googled 90s jackets to get inspo for her jacket and her pants are kinda based on those really old carpet arcade floors. Yknow, the ones that used to be in Peter Piper Pizza and Dave N Busters and shit before they changed and went boring instead

Anyways, more about Disco!!! Disco is a genderfluid and flirtatious Inphernal, spawned in Playground thanks to a lovely young couple in love!

I sadly dont rlly have much of backstory/childhood for Disco figured out expect for one parent was kinda sorta really fucking shitty and abusive towards the other parents and Disco, but it'll be developed more later, trust.

She's the leader of a (sort of) small gang called The Rosebuds! The Rosebuds does a long of drug trafficking to make their money and gain their influence. Run my 5 main members, The Rosebuds are quite the force to go against! To save some space here (and so i dont have to re-ramble) you can look at this post to learn more about them :D

He's a Melee phighter with a modified gear, the Disco Ball! He actually went to another oc of mine Timebomb to get her gear modified. Word is that they're the best gear modifier in Crossroads, and they certainly didnt disappoint! (ill bring more Timebomb crumbs later, trust) Originally, her gear was just the disco ball, and they could choose to either summon it with or without a chain attacked to it. They also used to be able to small a bunch of small disco balls at once too! It was really usefull for easy things to throw at her friends too lol Now, with the modifications, she can summon hher gear as a single, 1-2 handed mace with a Disco ball at the end, or as two one-handed maces! She cant really summon more, even if they are small bc its too draining since adding more stuff to it. Also both forms of his gear can extend and reach farther away, making him sort of a melee-range combo, though its mostly just for more reach to whack the fuck out of people in phights instea dof like actually be a ranged phighter lmao

Personality wise Disco is very cheery and flirty, no matter who the other Inphernal is. They dont flirt with new and young spawns though, obviously. Nonono, instead her and The Rosebuds actually take time to make sure any young Inphernals are their own are at the very least fed and clothed, using a good portion of their money to aid those less fortunate in the cruel world of the Inpherno. Disco will, however, abso-fucking-lutely flirt with a sword if she gets the chance. One because ti would be bragging rights, and also because i am not joking when i say they flirt with everyone

Dont be fooled though. Disco is also a fucking psychopath. She's got her own fair share of skeletons in the closet, and he certainly isnt afraid to make room for more. He's just a little bit of a yandere side to him, and has no trouble dipping below the moral standard if it means keeping their friends, family, and loved ones safe.

SPEAKING OF LOVED ONESSSSSSS (this is where the big gay enters) Disco has a partner!! Wolf is another OC of mine, and him and Disco are so gay for eachother. They are absolute freaks and i love them so much. Wolf is well aware of Discos.... protective tendencies, the two having many conversations at the beginning of their relationship about such. nearly all of them ended up with a 'slightly' flustered Wolf and a 'slightly' teasing Disco. Freaks, i tell you /pos I could go into so much more detail about how gay these two freaks are for eachother but lits litterally all just concepts and dumb little skit scenes that i dont know how to put into words or draw. cries.

Oh yeah, also Disco calls like everyone some sort of pet name or nickname. Like hun, sugar, darling, babe, sweetie, that kind of stuff. I have like a list of some for certain age ranges too, but i never really remeber them anyways and like always go with hun and darling whenever im writing anything dialogue for him but like. I promise he uses more than jsut those two. trust. Also Disco calls Wolf Love and no one else. "Love" is the only reserved nickname, except it belnds in so well with every other nickname that when he calls him love no one bats an eye because its just another nickname (and disco also does use regular nicknames for wolf too, not just Love). And Wolf will very rarely calls Disco "Star". mainly when the two are alone/with certain ppl. in public like nearly never. Gotta keep up the tough guy look after all (even if disco is taller than him-)

Timebomb's back! Oh thats really cool. Im guessing they do stuff with gears lol. Sounds neat tho, I will patiently await the Timebomb crumbs. Makes sense. Kinda cool that Disco could summon is different if she wanted to. Idk if i would've thought of that. Ver good creativity. And different sized too?? Oh thats cool. Imagine just like, a phucking giant disco ball being summoned and just crushing an entire house. Thats a really funny visual in my head. please tell me that or something similar has happened. It would be so funny. 1-2 handed. Does it changed based on how Disco's feeling or like, usually its 2 handed and occasionally ya gotta throw in the one-handed wielding to throw the enemy off. Either way thats neat. I like how the multiple-ways-of-summoning sticked around even after the modifications. Very cool design detail. Also thats so fair.
