catalyst does not tear his eyes away, not as voice raises, not as apologies come sarcastic && angry. he sticks still && sticks close. he could raise his hands to show him palms, but would it help? would it help if he apologised again? ( it had only hit him near the end of his journey, that things might be different now because staci && him are something. but those before didn’t care, && even family, even they had gotten used to his disappearances, coming to expect them every few months.
but things are different now, aren’t they?
instead of another apology, catalyst says nothing. he will let staci say his piece. to deliver his anger, rightfully so, && he would not look away, he would not give him anything.
