it’s like a storm, raging so cruelly with an intensity I cannot control. It swirls in waves and riptides, dragging me down with hands of ice and claws created from whispers  in my head. It’s like a storm, irrational and sudden, pounding down upon my body my heart my mind with every single rain drop of sorrow. It’s like a storm, clearing when the tides roll back, when the moon reappears and stars dot the sky, my soul realigning with the rest of me. It’s like a storm and when the rain cools, the water smooths and I feel that peace, I know you’ll be there. It’s like a storm and yet you’re still here just as you were when it was like a calm fall day.

I’ll be there for you through your storms too.
