Salem's moving story is starting to make no sense in a few ways honestly. I find it weird how Salem begged for money for the move only two weeks prior to the moving date. Did he not know it was coming up? Why did he scramble for money at the last minute instead of preparing for months?
Asking for money to move, December 20th:
Stating he's moved in already, January 2nd:
You're telling me he scrambled last minute? Or is this another ploy for extra money?
He also says he's being supported by his siblings in that first screenshot up top, yet:
"This is my house it's literally under my name" yet, your sisters are the ones paying? Since they're the ones supporting you? Am I hearing that correctly?
The whole thing makes absolutely no sense- the more he talks about it, the less it sounds like he has any idea what he's even fucking talking about.
Salem has, on multiple occasions, stated that his mom is his "caregiver", which likely translate to "beneficiary" in legal terms. He claims he is "too disabled to work" and his only income is SSI, which based on how he's posted about it, is fully not enough to rent or BUY (because I'm sure that's what he will claim next) a house in GA, let alone anywhere in the US right now.
No landlord or relator is going to rent to someone who's only source of income is less than 2-3x rent. But here's the thing: Salem has claimed MANY times that he is the biggest earner in his family, and has even ADMITTED he makes a good income to flex on la haterz:
I'm not saying Salem can't rent, but if he is legally considered his mother's dependent, then he couldn't rent without HER cosigning and being a part of the lease. UNLESS the house is in his sister's names, too. I've never heard of a landlord letting adults live in a house/apartment without being on the lease- his sisters' names are on the lease, or they wouldn't legally be allowed to live there. It's a insurance thing, because obviously no one wants to rent to people they cannot rely on.
It's just not adding up lmfao. How did he not know any of this before the day prior to moving, but he is the only one on the lease? That is clearly a discussion that would've occurred between him, his sisters, and the landlord before the lease was even SIGNED. How would it make sense for a landlord to rent to 3 people, but only one signs the lease? That's sketch as fuck, nobody is doing that.
I don't feel like a lot of people talk about this, but he or his family members were allegedly rejected for food stamps. While I don't agree with the system set in place for food stamps, here is a comprehensive explanation as to why an application may have been rejected/benefits ending:
(Full document here) I find it interesting that he never explains why his family is rejected from these programs. Any other time I've seen people talk about getting rejected/their benefits ending, it's always companied by a reason, usually "because I make too much" with the most sarcastic tone in the universe (because SNAP benefits can be rejected for that even when the person can literally only afford rent with their income), but Salem never says that, which is kind of off-brand for him. If there's some way to bitch about the government and how it directly effects him, he will. But he didn't when talking about his benefits. It's just vaguely "they got cut off". Even when Salem is blatantly lying about his situation, he is always weirdly descriptive about what's going on, despite always saying "I won't get into it, but...."
Most of his narrative is skating by on nothing but plausible deniability. Shit like this could happen, but only if he was renting from the absolute sketchiest of places, or is making way more money than he lets on. He uses false openness to manipulate his audience into believing everything he says is true, because he's so "open" about his experiences and emotions.
If Salem has good income on his own and the ability to rent on his own (his name is the only one on the lease and he's the only one paying bills), there's no reason he is living with his family that he accuses of abuse. It makes no fucking sense. He either needs their help financially, or he's still legally tied to his mom/she is still helping, or he is choosing to live with his sisters.
Make it add up, Salem.
