The first thing Bucky realises, apart from the red paint being spilt over his uniform shirt, was that the man in front of him was gorgeous. His eyelashes were ridiculously long, and he looked up at Bucky through them, biting his lip like he expected him to throw him out of the store any second.

"I'm so sorry," the kid said, wrapping his arms around his middle, "I'll pay for the paint, it's like twelve buc--"

"Fuck, kid, calm down; I'm not going to drag you into a back alley and smack you around for spilling some paint on me. It'll wash out." Bucky had been working at this store for three years now, so he knew he'd be throwing that shirt away as soon as he got home. "It's fine." He was going to get so much shit for this from his boss.
