Plenty of traffic tonight on Idler Lane, but Green Gables subdivision and Wolf Industrial Park were car-free. You can put in six miles, half of it hills, easily, without leaving the Greenville city limits on this route, and it's a pleasant run. Alas, sidewalks are scarce in places and local drivers will push you off the pavement. Be wary. Also keep an eye out for deep, possums, raccoons, and the occasional wayward box turtle on Andrews Drive. This has been your rural route road report for Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
