Never done one of these, I’m gonna give it a try a put a thing I previously wrote in Italian and now I’m gonna translate it, it’s just the opening of a chapter of a slice of life thing I’m doing, Don’t try to find much sense in it, just trying to have fun myself.
Someone was knocking at the door. But it sounded more like they were hitting my skull with a huge steel pole. A silent gong shaking my brain in the form of one too many beers from the night before.
“Alex!” Gong gong gong. “Get up, we’re gonna be late!”
My torso shot out of the sheets and I was on my feet. But my brain didn’t get the time to follow the rest of my body, and I found myself grabbing on to the drawer next to the bed in my undershirt and panties, the dizziness making my head feel like on a carousel going too fast. With a headache that felt more like an axe stuck between my cerebral hemispheres, I got out of the building with Taylor, dressed for work. If a good beginning bodes well, my first friday as a thirty-year-old was going to be shit.
