Hey! Whatever happened to Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In?
The Halloween season is approaching and this question is starting to pop up again. Hopefully this post will find it’s way to people that are still wondering about it.
For those that don’t know, Chiller Drive-In was a horror host program produced in Detroit and syndicated on the RTV network. The show ran for 3 seasons (4 if you count the Nightmare Sinema run). I was the lead editor, animator, creative director, graphic artist, webmaster, social media manager and even an actor on the show. I also wrote episodes, built props and managed to direct one episode too. Oh, and I handled all of the production of our monthly “Attack of The Killer B’s” live events.
There were a lot of things that led to the show’s demise, but as I state in the linked story below, if you want to blame someone for taking the show off the air, blame me. Here are the gory details:
