Figured that my YLW Medic's specialty would be pharmaceuticals and chemistry, perhaps some dabbling in the dark potion brewing arts on the side. Math, numbers, formulas etc are easier to remember for him than names and faces... so he buries himself in his work, and is so perfectly content with that. Trust.

The pookies (lancelou, ratsandclocks) and I have been kicking around the idea of an animal hybrid world where there’s a 1/10 chance for anyone to develop hybrid features as they age. If one sibling turns out to be a hybrid, there’s a strong chance the others will too- but not always. Hybrids can be born to human parents, and hybrids can have kids who never change- it’s all up to chance.

Generally hybrid features come in around the 13-15 age range, but sometimes it can be delayed (as is the case with the Sniper bros, who all turn between the ages of 18 to 24ish). Mick’s an Elk, lancelou’s bro Dick is a wedge-tailed eagle, and RatsandClocks’ bro Rick is a seal. Unlike the OG AU (lmfao) things aren’t too angsty.

Mick has a whole thing about his antlers growing in and being embarrassed about it… so he decorates them when the velvet sheds, and for the 5/6 months before that he looks adorable with his fuzzy lil antlers.
